The Hobbit House is a tiny house (15x11'); Full size bed, futon/couch that sleeps an extra guest, outdoor claw foot tub, shower, electric fireplace, and outhouse with composting toilet. The tiny cabin has a patio, picnic table and fire ring. The patio overlooks a pond and is part of a 53 acre forested property in the Blue Ridge. WiFi is now included. Glamp in style! The main lodge is just up the driveway if you need to contact the host. FYI: Outdoor shower/tub is turned off in a freeze.

This was by far the most beautiful place we have ever been too. The views are of epic proportions the cabin was clean and comfortable. We didnt want to leave. If you are looking for a peaceful quiet getaway there is none better. The location is a good distance from the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg or pigeon forge but thats what we were looking for, for our honeymoon. Suba's is excellent dining if looking for a wonderful meal.

We came to High on Helton for the opening weekend of trout season because our son loves to Trout fish. The place was exactly as it was described and we loved the cabin. We shot pool in the evenings and even got in the hot tub. Our host was very friendly and any questions I had were answered. We love the Grassy Creek area and definitely will come back. Great stay!!!!!

Our stay was wonderful, the space and the land made it such a peaceful, relaxing little get away! Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to make breakfast lunch, and dinner. The bed was really comfortable, we slept great! the space was beautifully curated. Delana was a very friendly, communicative, accommodating host. The Rocking chairs and the creek were probably our favorite part. would love to stay there again, thanks Delana!

We had a wonderful weekend getaway in the mountains with our baby, toddler, and my husband. The home was immaculately clean and so thoughtfully prepared, you can really tell there’s a lot of attention to detail. Everything felt peaceful and comfortable, which made it the perfect place to relax and unwind as a family. We truly appreciated the quiet setting and how well-equipped the space was for our stay. Would absolutely recommend and would love to come back!

hot tub, river, sun porch, river, hot tub, decks, hot tub, grill, river, hot tub...in that order! well rested after taking in the beautiful scenic view, birds chirping, steam rising from the mountain after a morning rain shower, rocking chairs and coffee on the sun porch, the sound of the river to fall asleep to, silence, no highway traffic, no city noise, no sirens, no nonsense. close enough to town for your needs, but far enough to escape it all. three bedrooms on three separate floors is ideal for travel with little ones. full access to laundry and wifi, full access to property, helpful property owners are informative and friendly. would stay again, highly recommend.

This property was beautiful and super close to Grayson Highlands State Park. The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils you could possibly need. We enjoyed the views of the firefly light show from the back porch. We wished we had time to enjoy the fire pit - it looked so cozy with cute adirondack chairs - but we were whooped from all the hiking we did.

Nora and Alison were fabulous host and the home was fantastic. It’s stocked very well with everything you would ever need, comfy, very private, great yard and creek out front. Will definitely come stay again and highly recommend to anyone.
