The cottage has been renovated to the highest standard whilst retaining all the charm of its period. The traditional village pub is a few metres away. There are many wonderful walks and bike rides available from the front door. Stays start Mondays or Fridays.

Smithy Cottage makes up the first floor of the converted smithy in the heart of the village of Staveley. When you climb the external stone staircase and open the front door you will find a perfectly formed cosy cottage conveniently laid out on one floor. We offer guests a contact free stay in our detached studio suite in the Lake District.To refresh the studio and to complete intensive cleaning we block off a day either side of every booking. The studio has a king-sized bed, dining table & chairs, a very comfortable sofa, TV, lobby, wet room, small kitchenette with mini-fridge, microwave, toaster, tableware, cutlery.
