Holiday rentals with beach access in Great Barrier Reef

Michael's place is in a great location for visiting the great barrier reef and the Daintree rainforest. The bed is huge and comfortable, Wi-Fi and air-conditioning worked fine, the kitchen was well equipped. It was always easy to contact Michael if I needed anything and he was very helpful with advice and flexible with the check out time. Highly recommended!

We so enjoyed our stay. The house was amazing-SO SPACIOUS! The house was spotless and the decor was just beautiful. My wife was so appreciative of the fact that everything you could want for in a holiday stay was there. It was very comforting to be able to secure our car in a lock up garage. Also loved the balcony that went around the house.

It had everything we needed for our stay. We also enjoyed one meal at the Ramada restaurant, as well as one evening swim which was very pleasant. Best to have a car to get around.

This is my second time staying at Sarah's unit and it was just as brilliant as the first time. Great price, great location, great communication. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

I loved staying at Helen and Daryl‘s igloo at Trinity beach. Absolutely fantastic location right across the road from a beautiful peaceful beach. A short walk to gorgeous restaurants and great places to shop. It’s right in the heart of Trinity Beach which I think is even nicer than Palm Cove. The igloo was spacious and comfortable in every way. Comfy bed and pillows Etc. Big TV and everything you need in the modern kitchen. And a modern bathroom. Helen was also very generous with leaving some treats in the fridge for us. So thoughtful with all of their touches throughout. I would come and stay in a heartbeat and I’m looking forward to coming back soon. I Highly recommend staying at this gorgeous igloo.

The unit worked perfectly for our needs. Slightly away from the centre town with no evening noise. One of the more comfortable beds i have encountered recently. Good internet and some space to work. (yes i know that was bad planning). Most important is a working BBQ ( found some crocodile sausages at the local butcher). Will be back.

We had a great stay at Charlotte's place while we were in Port Douglas. It's beautifully decorated with a comfy bed and squeaky clean bathroom. The verandah was a great place to read and enjoy our morning coffee. It's a good distance to Grant St. and the restaurants, close enough to be convenient but far enough from the madding crowd. All in all, highly recommended!

It can be hit and miss when staying at a resort that is partly owner occupied. But this place is beautiful. Exquisite furnishings, and simply a lovely place to stay. I don’t know who the interior decorator is, but they have absolutely nailed it.

Had a wonderful stay at Carmen’s residence in Cairns in early June. The residence is located about 25 minutes the airport by car as well as the center of town and the marina where you can catch boats for excursions. So, you’ll need to drive or rent a taxi/Uber. The house is located Inside a gated community estate and there’s a code that you’ll need to give any arriving taxis. The treehouse itself was absolutely gorgeous, with three floors, multiple rooms, a pool, and surrounded by lush greenery. It felt like we were in a forest! If you’re adventurous, you can even take a private path to the beach and nearby cafes—but be warned, it can be treacherous! Overall, this was a great find. And our hosts were proactive with messages and suggestions that were quite helpful. The only regret we have is that we didn’t get to spend MORE time here!

We spent 7 beautiful place in Kim’s home. We were so close to town and activities down at the marina. The home was spotless and beautiful. It felt like home. So much space for everyone and activities for all ages. The pool was magical over looking the marina and the water. Kim accommodated for us with our baby so well providing services to ensure our little one was looked after. We had an amazing time and will be back for sure!!!

Coconuts 🌴 was the best family escape!. Private direct access to the beach!! Heaps of board games for game night, pool to relax after hot days at the beach, beautiful comfy lounge for movie time, tvs in the rooms! The house is amazing all you need for a holiday!

This is our second visit to the Wallaby House and I don’t see it being our last! As a family with little ones- being able to see the ocean and the pool from the kitchen is a big win!! The fact that the house is spacious, with a big back yard- makes it perfect for the kids to play outside and not get cabin fever! My 19month old, 4 and 6 year olds all walked to the beach and back so the location is just perfect for us! Definitely a gem!

We a wonderful 4 nights @ Treetops. It was very spacious, I booked it for a few extra friends to drop by but we were there buy ourself most of the time. The house is set among the boulders of Magnetic Island, giving it a very local experience. The rock wallabies come to visit every night. The plunge pool is so beautiful to seat in. Drive around the island I think this is one special spot.

Fabulous getaway spot! Photos do not do this beautiful property justice. Spacious, amazing views and quiet location. Best place to relax and unwind. Beach was beautiful and so close to Arlie Beach to grab supplies. Louise was so prompt and helpful with all communication. Can’t wait to visit again.

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful home on Hamilton Island! The view was absolutely breathtaking — we watched the sunset every evening and it was truly magical. From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless. The valet pick-up and drop-off service made our arrival and departure so easy, and having the buggy included was such a convenient bonus for getting around the island. The house itself was spotless, well-stocked, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our host was extremely responsive and helpful, providing great suggestions on things to do and see on the island. Communication was clear and timely throughout the entire experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Hamilton Island!

We had a great stay at the very charming Library apartment. Eileen and her husband were fantastic hosts and provided great suggestions for where to visit during our stay. Access to the pool was a bonus!

Palm cove is the perfect location for a holiday. Peter and Satina apartment is the perfect place to stay ground floor access to pool and all amenities. We will return.

A sprawling home with great views. Kitchen was fabulous. The bedrooms and bathrooms were top notch. The patio area had comfortable seating. Even though the place is a part of a small group of apartments, it felt totally private. Covered car park was a bonus. Hosts are super responsive and helpful. One reaches the place through two flights of narrow stairs. It may be difficult to carry large luggage or if you have mobility issues. Otherwise this is a dream vacation home

Janelle was an amazing host, the place was absolutely amazing and we had a wonderful holiday. She made sure we were looked after and after we forgot to leave a set of keys still tried to be helpful and assist us. Thank you Janelle

Beautiful location and easy access to the beach and local restaurants. This apartment is a private rental amongst a very large resort at Palm Cove, so can be a little noisy with families etc Kitchenette is on the small side but most people probably dine out at the numerous restaurants around the area. Also, the place is listed as 2 bedroom however, it is only a thin frosted plastic panel between the bedrooms that provides very little privacy. So I'd only recommend for very close friends or family.
