Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Great Barrington

My friends, family, and I have been coming to Great Barrington for more than 20 years. This is the most comfortable home we have stayed in. Everything was as described in the listing. The grounds are also very nice. The house has a beautiful yard, garden, and peaceful atmosphere. Everyone in our group remarked on the comfort, cleanliness, and good energy in the home.

We had a great stay at Shiyrah’s home! We were a group of 2 families with three little ones with us. The house was perfect for us. Shiyrah was so accommodating, allowing us to check in early with all the kids, as we were arriving for a wedding weekend event a bit before the typical check-in time. She even messaged me the morning of our check-out saying to take our time and not to rush. She is a wonderful and thoughtful host, and her house is a beautiful place to stay. Thank you so much, Shiyrah!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful lake house! The home itself is lovely—spacious, comfortable, and perfect for a family getaway. The lake and boats were a big highlight for us, offering plenty of fun and relaxation. Our host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. While there were a few small things that needed fixing, she addressed them right away and was very communicative, which we really appreciated. Overall, it was a great experience and a memorable holiday for our family. We’d definitely love to come back!

We had a great time, the location is great, right on the water and the fishing was even better. A very quiet lake and much bigger when you are out on it in the kayaks. I would surely stay here again!

Beautiful home! Extremely clean upon arrival and excellent communication. Everything in the house was clearly labeled and directions for check-in and check-out were very clear. Sadly it rained our entire stay so we could not enjoy the pool or the beautiful backyard, but we still had a lovely stay. We hope to come back soon!

We loved the Yellow Victorian! Danielle was a great host--clear, honest, responsive. The space is gorgeous, with so many large rooms, each with its own flavor. The beds were comfy, the living room cozy. And the best part were the kitchen and garden. It felt really spacious for the family to cook together, dink coffee, sit outside and chill. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and all the glass and servingware you will need--loved how eclectic the choices were, made the stay fun! We are definitely coming back next time we are in south county :-)

Peter and the apartment were great! Peter was super responsive, friendly, and had nice touches like homemade granola with milk and coffee provided. After my original AirBNB fell through at check-in at 6pm, I was relieved (and saved) by Peter’s responsiveness.

Gracious host, friendly and responded very quickly. The Airbnb itself was pleasant, quite cozy with a pretty backyard/garden area. Would definitely recommend to someone looking to stay in the area

Amazing stay at Richards. It is like the photographs and so much more. Richard was friendly and helpful and enjoyed sharing his home, sculptures and gardens with others. The apartment is beautiful and peaceful and a great getaway. He has put so much love and energy into his home and property and we are so lucky to be able to enjoy it also. I look forward to returning. A nice escape into the country side of western mass but still close to so many adorable small towns, farms, Northampton and fun little back roads.!!!

Cute room above the brewery was a nice get away for my wife, our little dog, and I. John was friendly and so were all of the other employees and guests. The Irish band was great and the patio by the brewery was very cozy the beers were also delicious too. The room itself was spacious and well furnished with a good size bed and additional day bed. Fun weekend get away for all ages.

Ivy on the Stone is a gem. We will definitely return. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom large and there is even a large screened porch for relaxing on comfy chairs, a sofa as well as a table for eating. Area restaurants are great, walkable to coffee shops and a large bakery in addition to a charming downtown with boutiques etc. Katherine is extremely attentive and we plan to return. MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Definitely a space with great level of thoughts and details makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. Surrounded by the nature, you can immerse yourself in the beautiful mountain view and bird chirps, very peaceful and tranquil. We saw deers walking by, rabbit hiding in bush from raining, and a little chipmunk busy around the house all the time. Thanks Katey for sharing her beautiful home and being a great host, super responsive and provides lots of useful information. We had an amazing time!

This was such a great location for a weekend getaway! The lake was so beautiful, the hot tub was amazing, and it was a private and relaxing place to spend the weekend. Olivia was great and gave very clear instructions on how to get there!

Chris's place is a beautiful cabin nestled in the woods, with birds singing, beautiful airy feel to the cabin, roomy, lovely second floor, most comfy bed I've ever slept in. Loved the colors - wood, tall glass windows and skylights, dark green comforters and pillow covers. It's up a dirt road, neighbors are far away, so if you don't like remote, this isn't your place. But if you do, it's perfect!

We LOVED our family’s stay at Mike’s place—well equipped for young kids, every amenity you could need, and the most spectacular location in the middle of the woods. The area is gorgeous and secluded—but also an easy drive to Great Barrington and its lively Main Street.

We had a fantastic weekend celebrating my wife’s birthday here. The home is beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by nature—just what we needed. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up. We’d love to come back!

I loved this place. It was very large. Larger than it appeared in the photos. And the yard was huge! The dogs loved running around it. The neighbors were close enough to see that there was a house nearby, but far enough to not really see any people. And I heard no one, just an occasional dog bark. It was a beautiful location. Trees and hills and beautiful grass. The wood burning insert was fabulous. We had cozy evenings watching tv or a movie. Plenty of plates and cookware. I made dinner most nights. It is also close to so much! I really loved it! Hikes and shopping. Don’t miss the Farmers Market. Highly recommend

We booked our trip day of to take a long weekend out of the city and I could not stress how perfect it was! We have two kids under 7 and the property provided so much space and safety to run around. On the days it rained, we enjoyed the patio area (with a huge tv). The creek in the back lended us hours of entertainment for our kids and finding the “surprise waterfall” to the left was very exciting! Brianna was available to answer any question we had within minutes. Although we could have stayed at the property the entire time, we tried out some places from the suggested list Brianna left. June Farms was great and the Towne Tavern had amazing wings. We’re excited to come back and sit on the patio during winter months! (They have a heater too!) 10/10 experience
