The bathroom has a bath with shower over. The second bedroom has twin beds and a garden view with the countryside beyond. There is an open plan living space. Views of the sea from the front sitting area and master bedroom French doors from the dining area open onto a large raised deck with steps down into the garden.

This unique place has a style all its own. Designed in a Japanese way with it's own Water Garden, terrace and boardwalk. Ideal for a family and children will love The Garden Wing, but there is access to the Japanese water garden, and bedroom 3+4 have unguarded stairs to unuseable mezzanine bunks ( see photos). Wight Cottage is in St Mary's Road, a quiet neighbourhood close to the shops, pubs and restaurants of Cowes High Street. Next available dates for Wight Cottage are in May 2027. You'll appreciate the careful refurbishment of this 175 year old shipwright's house. In the summer you can throw open the French windows to a sunny garden. In the winter underfloor heating will keep you warm. Wight Cottage is just a few minutes walk from the marinas in Cowes. Perfect for a Cowes sailing event.

A charming little wooden house by the sea

This quirky attractive vintage little cottage is perfect for getting away from it all and relaxing in idyllic surroundings. Just a few metres from the lovely pebbly Gurnard beach, this fully refurbished historical little wooden building is set back from the road and tucked away behind our wild garden. It is accessed from its own car parking space via a little path. At the rear, a small stream goes to the sea and a large oak tree provides shelter to birds and a relaxing swing seat.
