Enjoy our holiday cottage on the edge of the Lake District. Many lakes, fells and beaches are easily drivable. Birkrigg common isn’t far and gives lovely views. The pub’s a 5-minute walk away and serves food most evenings There are buses to both Barrow and Ulverston and beyond at the end of the road. Ulverston is famous for its many festivals which attract lots of tourists. Barrow is only a 10-minute drive away for shops or if you want to go a little further Walney nature reserves are lovely.

Gorgeous home, private parking and stunning views

Bay View Cottage is a fabulous ENTIRE Ulverston home extremely well suited for a romantic escape for two people or for working in the area, or working at home, great WiFi. Very peaceful here no road noise lots of bird song, cosy up and enjoy the panoramic view. Very close to town centre it has own entrance with a key safe, so arrival time can be totally flexible, and there is private parking. We use a Professional cleaning service to ensure the place sparkles. Much better than a hotel room!

The Black Dog cottage is a charming 3 bedroom 2 bathroom property located in a quiet rural setting two doors down from the Black Dog Inn, outside the town of Dalton in Furness in the Cumbrian countryside. In 2021 the cottage was renovated creating open plan living on the ground floor, a double and single bedroom on the first with family bathroom and a master suite on the second, complete with ensuite. Off road parking is available at the front of the cottage and wifi available throughout.

The house has good kitchen stocked with all the basics, from herbs, condiments and even the odd tin of baked beans, so if you fancy cooking, you can!. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, friends and business travellers.

Stayed here over the course of 5 weeks. Very comfortable stay and had everything I needed. Very responsive and when I had any query’s and was happy to accommodate an extra night. Fan was an added bonus during some very warm nights. Great location and parking outside building.

Diana's property provided everything needed home from home. I can only describe the accommodation as stunning the photos did not do it justice. From cleanliness to comfort it is top notch. We will be booking for next year for the same event without hesitation, there is plenty to do in Ulverston we did not have enough time this trip to dobas muchbascwe would have liked. Diana provided clear concise instructions to ensured a smooth arrival her response to any questions if needed were friendly and quick. Thank you again.

Mop Fair is a beautiful place to stay, it has well proportioned rooms, very comfortable furniture and beds, and all the facilities and equipment you need for an excellent stay. Tony and the Pass the Keys team are fantastic hosts, excellent communicators who respond quickly to any communication and who provide a great amount of information about check-in, check-out, and the accommodation. We really enjoyed our stay, and will certainly be back.

kathleen was really helpfull. we told her we were staying for daves day and we would be on motorbikes and she left us milk and biscuits and crips. tea bags and coffee and sugar. there were a different selection of toiletries in the bathroom. and she told us the bus stop was about 150 yards from her apartment which was great for us and they run very regular for us to get into barrow on furness. the village was lovely. there was a greggs for breakfast roll on the 2 mornings we were there and there were a couple of pubs and a couple of mini supermarkets and a free cash machine at the post office.
