The Hayloft

Relax with the family in this peaceful slice of heaven. Set at the end of a single lane track, it is a truly idyllic spot. Wildlife in abundance including deer, hare, owls and other large birds of prey. The property is on our small farm where we keep our horses, chickens, geese and ducks. We are close to Hedingham Castle, only 3 mins by car. Great for attending a wedding! It’s a 10 minute walk to the village of Gestingthorpe with its award winning pub The Pheasant offering drinks and great food.

The Stables a rural, romantic retreat

This lovely cottage is in a particularly pretty rural setting close to Castle Hedingham, with great walks right from your doorstep and local nearby pubs. The Stables is a 1600’s, Grade II listed farm building recently sympathetically restored with many original features and exposed Oak beams retained to offer a couple a chance to get away from it all and enjoy beautiful countryside in the comfort and luxury of a beautiful little cottage. Included is a lovely Breakfast Hamper 2 Dogs welcome

Nestled in a small private glade next to a brook with views over the meadow, and countryside beyond, an abundance of wildlife all around a great place to get away from it all. Wood burning stove, kitchen, shower, toilet, comfy double bed. The Byre at Cold Christmas

Escape to the country and stay in a cosy converted barn with a log burning stove and a secluded sunny patio area with outdoor dining and barbeque. Positioned in the beautiful countryside near Ware town, Cold Christmas has an abundance of lovely walks and is conveniently situated close to Hanbury Manor and Fanhams Hall, both of which offer a variety of amenities including a golf course, health spa and fine dining. Maltons, one of the area's finest restaurants is just at the end of the lane.

Alternatively, there is boating on the nearby river Stour, or just enjoying a drink at one of the country pubs along its route.
