Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Greater Bilbao

What a wonderful stay we had in your beautiful home! There was everything we needed including a fabulous shower with good water pressure and tons of hot water. It was like having a home away from home. We stayed for 5 weeks and explored the entire Basque region by car, from Santander to Burgos to Pamplona to San Sebastian and Bearritz/Bayonne. This home is centrally located and Berango itself offers a nice small town neighborhood feeling. The metro is close by but we found driving into Bilbao more convenient. It's also close to some fine beaches. Garbiña is a terrific host -- very friendly, funny and caring. We hope to return again.

We were in the accommodation for the second time and always feel at home. We'll be back.

Lourdes was very welcoming and friendly, spacious accommodation for our group of 18 people. Each room has its own bathroom, which is very convenient when there are many people. The house is in a very good location. The only downside, but for which Lourdes is not responsible, is the barking of the neighborhood dogs late into the night. We had a great time! Thanks!

Super spot, close to the beach and not far from the center of Sopela! When we were there there was quite a bit of parking, so that was cool. I would recommend.

Mikel was very responsive and met us outside to drive with us into the car parking and to show us around the property.The apartment is as listed and is a short bus or subway drive to the center of Bilbao. Would highly recommended this property.

Spacious, charming, and impeccably located. We truly felt at home, rather than on the road, during our stay. You can’t ask for a better vantage point to explore both sides of the river. We loved the natural light and fresh air from the balconies, the only downside was the road noise from the buses and the mosquitos that flew in. We were grateful for a small washing machine and drying rack. Would gladly return!

I had a wonderful stay at Erika's home. The house is spacious, clean, and offers stunning mountain views that made for a serene getaway. Very nice stay. Very neat in the mountains. The first time is not so easy to find, but once you know it is not difficult! Wonderful location with mountain views. Everything is spic and span and beautifully arranged. Host was also very accessible in case of problems!

Comfortable bed, good closets, larger living room than it looks in the photo and very well decorated. A corner to work. Perfect for a few days... or even more, in Bilbao. The host is attentive and flexible. It made it easier for me to enter a little earlier

Everything was impeccable, the accommodation was practically new, super clean, and the girl was kind enough to leave us coffee cookies, and the girl was very kind, I recommend it 100/100

We were received very hospitably. It is a spacious, clean accommodation. Well equipped with everything you could possibly need. They even thought of the first necessities for a breakfast if you arrive late and the shops are already closed. There is a metro card ready that you can top up yourself, and the metro is very close, and then you are in the heart of the city center in 15-20 minutes. We would choose this again immediately!

6 of us had a great stay at Javier's apartment. unlike many airbnbs it was really spacious and could genuinely accommodate the advertised maximum number of guests (without sleeping on sofa beds in the living spaces or). It was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. Although I didn't experience it, I think the front bedroom could be a bit noisy as mentioned by other guests as you are right in the old town. Location was excellent - we walked everywhere we wanted to visit but tram stop was very close when we were feeling lazy. Javier was extremely responsive and accommodating. We were able to leave our bags after the checkout time. I would highly recommend both Javier and the apartment and wouldn't hesitate to return.

The apartment is impeccable, beautiful, extremely clean, as per the cleaning standards of Brazilians. Wonderful bed and shower, Alberto is helpful and friendly. We will certainly recommend the apartment to our family and friends.

Carmen was always attentive, giving us directions on where to eat or what to do. It's a shame we had little time because we came to a soccer tournament with our son and couldn't do more. The apartment has everything, plenty of storage space, and is very clean. Thank you

The apartment was super clean and exactly as shown in the photos. Very well located in an area with lots of bars and restaurants but zero noise. And the area, of course, is beautiful.

It’s a good sleep there, apartments decorated very new.have all the appliances for cooking.

Very nice apartment! Very quiet place. Host responds very quickly, very friendly. We moved to the center of Bilbao by subway, I think it's the best, punctual, you get to the historic center in 30 minutes. We left the car parked on the street near the apartment. Very comfortable bed. Kitchen with dishes for cooking and so on. Highly recommended!!

Nahi is a great hostess! She accomodated my late arrival and was kind to bring some stuff for my cat. The apartment is spacious and neat, contains all necessary things to make you feel like home. The area is quite and cozy with some local shops and bars nearby. Highly recommend if you want to stay outside of busy city centre, and do not mind exploring Bilbao's surroundings.

We stayed at Roberto's place on our trip to Bilbao and we loved it. It is not in the centre of Bilbao but it is right next to the metro and can be in Bilbao city centre/old town very quickly. The flat was tidy and had everything we needed, including a nice outdoor terrace area to relax on nice summer evenings. To address what other reviews have said, it is a bit loud at times but we never had any trouble when it came to bedtime and often found ourselves enjoying the noise of the hustle and bustle of the Basque streets. Parking was a little difficult but we always managed to find a spot. Roberto was very communicative and helped us find the apartment easily. Overall we would recommend this as a place to stay for your trip to Bilbao

What you see is what you get, almost. The location and the view from Josu's apartment is even better in real life. We planned for a week visiting Bilbao and San Sebastian, but left wishing we had more time in Sopela. Josu is the kind of guy you feel like you've known all your life. Very friendly and easy going. Definately worth a visit... and already on our wishlist for our next visit to Spain.
