Beautiful historic farmhouse and lovely lawns. A truly relaxing spot

We had the most wonderful holiday! Kids were happy, food was excellent and the setting gorgeous. We visited the beach, horse rides and lessons were given and we were spoilt with delicious breakfast buffets daily. As a mother, I felt very relaxed. The Robberg Walk was also stunning and worthwhile.

Lovely place to stop off and spend a night or two at an old farmhouse near Uniondale. About 60km from George Has a farm dam for kids to play and sheep farming activities on the go. Lovely big house and braai facilities

This is the perfect spot for a big group to get together. The house is exquisitely appointed and there’s more than enough space to accommodate everyone’s needs. We were a mixed group of couples, couples with kids and single people and we never felt that we were in each other’s way. The location is perfect - remote enough to feel like you’re truly in the middle of nowhere, while still close enough to shops and beaches to not compromise on comfort. We will definitely be back! The location is spectacular. Immersed in nature you take your first real breath of fresh in ages. The view and the sounds relax your soul, and it feels like true freedom from the stress of every day life. Matthew was an awesome host, he gave us our space, but also made us feel comfortable enough to ask for anything we needed. The Gite has everything you need, and we never once had to think about anything. It's a truly wonderful place where you can feel the care that's gone into keeping nature at the helm. The beach is a short walk, and a lovely one. It was the perfect start to 2020, and I feel relaxed for the first time in years.

Wayford Inn is like a piece of paradise with the peaceful surroundings and beautiful view on the garden. The house is even more beautiful and spacious than what is shown in the pictures. and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. Sue is a perfect host before and during the stay.

soooo;- Hands down, all time favorite staycation destination!!! Everything about the place; the location, the stillness, the cold air and steam inside of that superb shower setup ... its magical! If you need some privacy, personal time to be just by joursef - this is where you go to find the answers. If you're lucky enough to have a cuddle buddy, I'd strongly suggest you try a couple days here. Rest, take the walking trial and snuggle up next to the fireplace at night. Can't wait to return!!! We loved the place the minute we walked into the cottage. Everything you need (and beyond) is there and the view over the valley is amazing. Michelle's place also offers some amazing walks in the forest, and it is a great place for bird watchers. This is a place for nature lovers and it is super easy to immerse into it. Having said this it is still a very comfortable place and Michelle does everything to make that this feels like a home-away-from home. What a beautiful place and for sure we will book it again!

What an amazing experience. We were so relaxed and enjoyed the tranquility that the farm had to offer. Just hearing the birds chirping was magical. Loved the outside bath, which I got to try out. Waldo was so welcoming, recommended the Plett wine & bubbly festival (which was amazing). Assisted us in getting the fire going in order to have braai on the Saturday evening. Definitely recommend the place.

Peaceful vacation, functional home and friendly host. Stayed at Heidi’s home with kids and we LOVED our stay. The pool was a highlight and the parents really enjoyed the coffee maker. Great retreat for a few nights!

As a nature lover we 100% recommend it. As an added bonus we heard the lions from the next door reserve. We really enjoyed ourselves and check in was flexible. Will definitely be returning.

This was my wife and I's first garden route trip and also had our 2 young boys. It was such a treat to stay here for a few nights, Tanja and her family definitely have an amazing gift of hospitality and hearing a bit of the history of the property was also sweet. Unbelievable sunsets!! Great home base to explore the surrounding area. We didn't manage to explore the hiking trails as much as we would've liked but we look forward to that next time! Book it whenever you can and enjoy!

Lovely place. Was great to sit outside and watch over the the farm and see all the animals (incl. elephants in the distance). Our little one loved greeting all the animals every day. Only need to take your clothes and dinner. Carrie provided all the necessities incl. lovely sourdough bread, jam, eggs and even some great chilli. Was easy to sit back and relax. Close to both Knysna and Plett and lots to do around.

Peaceful, rustic farm living with a great view and incredible sunsets. Spacious bedrooms and living area and nice big outside space for kids to play. Close to some good hikes, a lovely beach (Buffalo Bay), a river for canoeing and farmers markets. And not too far away if you need to head into town (Knysna or Wilderness).

We absolutely loved our stay at Piglets Cottage. The location is so beautiful with the ponds & the mountains as a backdrop. Louise is the perfect host - she loaned us some binoculars for our stay. The cottage is close to some nice walks & to Wilderness. We checked out the cheesecake at the local country store - don't miss it. We will definitely be back to Piglets on our next visit & will plan a longer stay.

our stay at Gina‘s place was amazing. she‘s a very lovely person who will provide for everything you need! We even got upgraded into a nice tiny caravan which was perfect because of a rainy night. We were aloud to use the barbecue..., there‘s also firewood which you can use. The bathrooms are very clean and spacious! we can definitely recommend this place!!!

Cheryl was a lovely, responsive host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at her beautiful cottage. The space was immaculate, the beds really comfortable and the peaceful surroundings and amenities at the property were fantastic. We would definitely return should we have the opportunity to do so. This is a highly recommended spot! And Cheryl a wonderful host.

We had a great stay in this charming place. This unit is a bit more private than the others as you enter through a secluded gardened area. Ilze was has down the best and went out of her way to accommodate our family, thank you. Also worth noting that during load shedding the wifi stays on, portable battery powered lights are available and the stove runs on gas.
