Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Green County

We loved our beautiful water view and we were so close to great restaurants. Douglas is such a friendly host and very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely and peaceful! Everything and more, enjoyed the stay and relaxation. Didn’t cook but plenty of options for doing so. I love stays that have laundry on site but was only there overnight so didn’t need it but great amenity for longer stays. The front porch is adorable, back deck is private and inviting. Really loved the mini vacation at Serenity Cottage! The history of the place is apparent and humbling, hope everyone that stays there appreciates that. Also board games! Love that touch and coffee was good! Definite win! Pet friendly was awesome!

Jordyn’s place is fantastic and she is an excellent host. The house has everything you need and is well organized. Jordyn is very proactive, communicative, and considerate. Highly recommend this stay!

Arbor Hill House is one of the best Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed in! It was cozy, spacious, and felt so homey. We had a group of 5—two couples and a single person—and there was plenty of room for all of us to have our own space. The living room is very accommodating for big groups, with a large sectional couch, recliner, and dining table with comfy rolling chairs. And the screened in porch was the perfect place to enjoy the beautiful weather! The loft is awesome. The bed is very comfortable and the attached bath is spacious. The sauna worked wonderfully and was a favorite accommodation amongst our group! It can fit two people at a time. And the overall vibe was perfect. Very 70’s, lots of thriving plants, and warm lighting. Last but not least — Josh was the best host! Josh left thorough instructions so we would be comfortable during our stay and was very easy to get in touch with. And the home was SPOTLESS! So clean the couch had vacuum lines on the couch. Literally 10/10!

This is a beautiful home! An older house, converted into an up-to-date, tastefully furnished, artistically designed interior. Very Scandinavian in tone and color. Clearly someone put a lot of thought into the project and had great taste in art! The house is spacious and extremely bright (unlike most other properties from the era). Though it was May, we came at an unusually cold period and we needed the heat! It worked beautifully. Perfect temperature control. It rained quite a bit, but the house is just steps away from eateries and cafes. At the same time it feels quiet and secluded. It really is the perfect location. Stocked with plenty of fun games and puzzles, we needn't have brought our own. We loved our stay here! A superb, top of the pack AirBnB!

Wonderful home for a big family or group! Lots to do (if you’re not already busy!). The home has everything you need to rest, relax, and make killer meals. Madison is a quick 30 minute drive away as well. Highly recommend.

My stay at this Airbnb was great! Had no issues whatsoever with the stay. It was nice and cozy for me and my significant other. The kitchen space was perfect, as well as the living room. It was clean and comfortable. Perfect for a couple to stay in. Will definitely recommend for others!

The apartment is spacious, bright, and looks right onto the Rock River. I would love to return in the summer and be able to enjoy the deck which overlooks the water. The location is convenient to many local attractions. It would be a good place for an extended stay with a well-equipped kitchen, washer and dryer. Nice modern kitchen and bathroom. Saul was a great host and replied quickly to messages.

This was my fourth time staying at Sandys and each time is just as enjoyable as the last. Her new wallpaper in the kitchen, bedrooms, and master bath are beautiful. She has a real knack for decor. She's always super helpful, kind, and her breakfasts dont disappoint! If you're looking to relax in a peaceful setting, but still be close to downtown Galena, this is THE place to stay.

Beautifully renovated, extremely comfortable. Well-lit (not all places are)! Hosts respond quickly to messages. Truly felt like a home away from home. Adorable little town although note that it’s fairly quiet early in the week. Many shops are not open until Thursday or Friday and most places close by 5pm. Conveniently located to MANY state parks. I would definitely stay here again.

This was the most at home we’ve ever felt while traveling. The apartment is beautiful and comfortable! Laura was fantastic at communicating with us and is very kind. We will stay here again if we ever make another trip up to Rockford.

My family stayed at Ruth’s place for two weeks and we felt right at home. The place was clean, smelled great and was supplied with cooking utensils, pots, pans and towels/linens. Miss Ruth even took it upon herself to offer new linens and towels at our preference, which was extremely appreciated!! The bathroom is equipped with mood lighting and really set the mood for the jacuzzi tub in the bathroom! Excellent stay, truly exceeded our expectations. We were satisfied with the accommodations and will look to stay again if we are in the area. Thank you so much Ruth!!

Kari has a wonderful home. The basement apartment we stayed in was perfect. It was private and had a great view. It was just as described and we didn’t want for anything. Kari even helped us get set up in advance, putting out a crib and age appropriate toys for our kiddo. Checking in was simple and smooth. I would absolutely stay here again the next time we are visiting.

Easily one of the best Airbnb’s we stayed in. I would highly recommend it to my friends. Especially for families with children. We stayed at Anja and Chuck’s place in late April for four nights. This was our first visit to Madison. We loved the place. Clean. Has everything. Kitchen was amazing and had everything we needed and we cooked a lot. Kids loved the bunk beds, the games and the piano. Feels very homey and private and designed with so much care and attention to detail. Loved the plants, the art, the books, the music instruments! Parking was convenient and the closed back porch was great for my early work calls when everyone was sleeping. Truly a wonderful place. Anja was very responsive and proactive. Everything was clear. Questions and requests were answered promptly and Anja was super helpful. Would definitely come back if we visit again. Thanks for a lovely visit!
