This was a unique yet amazing experience! Being amongst wildlife and with great people really made for a fantastic stay and I would 100% do it again. Great value for money too. Couldn't recommend it enough!

The place was really nice! Everything was perfectly fine. He was understanding about me not mentioning my under 2 year old and was a great host. I was originally under the impression the whole house/block was ours but it is divided in half which isn’t an issue as the half for guests is perfectly suitable for a stay the only thing is sound travels so that can feel a little awkward hearing each other through the walls but despite that everything was great!

Kookaburra Cottage is truly a hidden gem close to the beautiful border ranges and the little town of Kyogle. The cottage is made for a romantic weekend in the hills - a cosy fire, well appointed kitchen to make yummy meals, wifi, streaming, and squeaky clean. It’s beyond cosy and yet spacious. Amazing value for money. Julie is so friendly and gave us great recommendations. I haven’t fallen in love with an Airbnb like this in many years. We will definitely be back.
