The Piggery Barn (Deluxe), in Nidderdale AONB

MikeRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We loved our stay at the Piggery Barn. The accommodation has been beautifully restored, the attention to detail amazing and the welcome pack of goodies and essentials were very much appreciated! Mel & Chris were great hosts, very welcoming and each spent time with us to understand our holiday plans and make great suggestions of places to see and eateries.

Smith Cottage in Appletreewick sleeps two

RuthRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Situated in a perfect spot for beautiful walking from the village, Smiths cottage is warm and cosy, a generous size for two, tastefully furnished and equipped with everything you need. There is ample parking and a pretty garden and patio with wonderful views of Wharfedale. You can stroll to two pubs- we had a delicious traditional steak and ale pie at the Craven Arms. There is a useful friendly basic supplies shop at the nearby campsite, which also has a little cafe and ice cream spot. We walked to Burnsall and Hebden along the River Wharfe on our first day- glorious scenery and bird song all around. The climb up behind the Craven Arms over the hills to Troller’s Gill and through the valley to Skyreholme was well worth the effort for the vistas and for a visit to the fabulous Parcevall Hall Gardens, with its Love Brownies tea room for refreshment before the walk back along the River Wharfe via Howgills to the cottage. Sunny weather too! God’s own country indeed. Thank you Lorren.

Characterful Period Property in Pateley Bridge

ClareRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a lovely stay at the old Courthouse. The house is in a fantastic location in Pately bridge. Easy walking to the town, where there's an array of places to eat. A visit to Coco Joe's is a must! The best hot chocolate I've ever had! The court house was super clean and welcoming, with lovely features. We particularly liked the welcome goodies, which made us feel at home. Emma was very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend a stay here!

Unique 18thC Yorks Dales Silk Weavers’ mill house.

BillRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Coming from the States, we were looking for a quintessential Yorkshire Dales experience: someplace peaceful and quiet with beautiful scenery. This place fit the bill perfectly. The house was very comfortable and we especially loved the shower, beds and comforters. It really is self catered so be sure to bring any cooking staples you will need. Beautiful artwork throughout the house, and some great magazines to read on rainy days. We did have an issue on the second to last day we were there - the power went out for no apparent reason. Luckily we were able to isolate the problem circuit and get things partially working again. Claire was very helpful and arranged for showers we could use in the cabins at the main property down the road. All in all, it was a lovely location and we would definitely stay there again.

Cozy cabin with luxury private hot tub.

GrahamRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Lovely place. Just what we needed for a couples getaway. Lovely comfy bed and the hot tub was great - even in the rain. It’s a very small place inside, but then that’s how it’s described, so no complaints there. Hosts seem to have responded to previous feedback. There is now excellent WiFi signal there.

Nidderdale Den

RachaelRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Lovely little cottage tucked away with beautiful views surrounding it. A bit tricky to find as the sat nav stopped before the actual road we needed to turn down, however Jo’s clear instructions really helped. Cosy, lovely cottage. The steps are really steep up to the bedrooms though so be mindful of that. We went with our 4yr old who just loved climbing up them as she thought it was an adventure, and we just brought our baby gate to put at the top for in the night. Pately Bridge is a 10min drive away, although I would advise bringing food with you as shopping options are quite limited in the small town. Be mindful there is no microwave in the kitchen as well for food prep/baby bottles etc. Jo was a lovely host, she sent through a full brochure for us before the trip with lots of local info on. We ate at the Sportman’s Arms about 15min drive from the house as well, which I would highly recommend, also suggested by Jo. Would recommend Jo’s place for anyone wanting a relaxing stay.

Kiln House Lodge Luxury Retreat

StevenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We arrived to a welcoming message and goodies in accommodation that was fitted out to the highest standard. We had a couple questions which Melissa responded to very quickly. Melissa and Steve were friendly and helpful, orienting us for things to do and local hostelries. Our two dogs loved the paddock and there were plenty of places to take them on walks. We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend.
