We got in at around 10 PM. The host was awake and greeted us promptly. We were shown the unit and made sure that we knew where all the various controls and appliances were. The area itself was extremely quiet. The rooms were comfortable, the space was clean, and stay was very pleasant. If you are extremely adverse to meeting other people, or talking to your hosts in person, this might not be the property for you. That being said, the owners were an absolute delight, and I have zero problems recommending them and this space to anyone.

Mary and Hank were amazing hosts. We enjoyed our stay. It was just what we needed. Everything was perfect and unique. Hank met us at the door and was so friendly. Mary made us breakfast and coffee. Our room was perfect, and the bed was so cozy we did not want to leave. If we ever have the need to stay in the area again, they will be our first choice.

Mary and Hank's exceptional hospitality made me feel truly welcome. Their home, which is steeped in history as Mary's childhood residence, is beautifully maintained and features a living room, kitchen, dining room, sunroom, patio, garden, and spacious yard. The addition of a hot tub creates a serene winter retreat. The peaceful surroundings, teeming with natural beauty, provided a soothing ambiance, and I was delighted to observe a mother deer and her fawn roaming the yard during my stay. I strongly recommend this idyllic getaway to those seeking tranquility and genuine connections with kind-hearted individuals. Please be mindful of the property and its facilities, as it is a precious and cherished residence.

This spot is a wonderful oasis despite being so close to Huntington. Miss Mary was a wonderful host for us, and we greatly enjoyed breakfast (when we woke up for it in time). Be sure to budget time to sit in the parlor and watch the multitude of birds at the feeder! We hope to come back to the Lansdale House again in the future.
