The tiny house is simple and cozy – a place to unwind, be close to nature, and enjoy the quiet. 🐾 Dogs are welcome (on a leash in the area out of consideration for other animals). Practical information: ✔ A bathroom, toilet, kitchenette, refrigerator, and washing machine are located in the main house, about 60 meters from the cabin, and are shared with a few other guests. ✔ There are convenient parking options nearby. A peaceful place for those who want to go hiking, take a break from everyday life, or experience the nature around Grejsdalen.

RUGGÅRD - Farm-holiday

Ruggård is an old farm, located on the edge of Vejle Ådal, only 18 km from Kolding, Vejle and Billund (Legoland). Here you have the optimal starting point for trips in the most beautiful Danish nature. The area offers hiking trails and cycling and horseback riding routes. There are many excursion options, but also time to stay on the farm. Children LOVE being here. Here, outdoor life is prioritized and therefore there is no TV in the home (parents thank us). Come and experience the rural idyll and tranquility and greet the farm's animals.

Relax in this unique and tranquil home overlooking Vejle Fjord, fields and forests. The house has a living room with kitchen, dining area and sofa area, toilet with shower and upstairs with bedroom. There are two elevation beds (double bed) as well as a single bed. Please note that the stairs to the 1st floor are a little steep and there is not so much space around the double bed. Outside, there are two terraces, both with views. There is a wood-burning stove with freely available firewood. Both bed linen and towels are included.

The tent is located deep in the forest, so there is a nice, though very hilly road up there. If you have difficulty walking, this trip will not be to your liking. From the parking of your car and up to the tent, it is 350 meters. From here, views of Vejle Fjord, Bølgen and Vejle city. 10 minutes' walk to the city center. In the apartment's large kitchen/living room, there are beautiful windows and access to one of the apartment's two balconies overlooking the fjord. The apartment's other balcony has evening sun and views towards the city. Both bathrooms have a shower and underfloor heating. There is an elevator and free parking.

The old power plant from 1860 is located in the middle of a river surrounded by forest and slopes and beautiful hiking trails. Vejle city center is within walking distance and you will find lots of attractions within a short driving distance. The house is divided into two open floors with terraces over the river from where it is possible to do fishing. The surroundings are quiet and peaceful and from the conservatory you can view the bird life in and around the river all year.

We have furnished the downstairs of our house into a big and bright apartment with room for 9 persons. There is a big kitchen, dining room and a lovely patio. The apartment is approx. 4,5 km from Vejle centrum and there are great bus services right outside the door. The distance to Legoland is 30 minutes as well as the distance to GIVSKUD ZOO.
