We had a great stay. House was very clean, and beds were comfortable. Door locks were a little tricky the first time but didn't take long to figure out. Thanks to the host for a great stay.

Loved the place very peaceful kinda scary at night since it was in the forest kinda in the middle of no where but we loved the idea would go again…

The place is huge and has many bedrooms. The living room, which is very old-fashioned yet very comfortable and livable, was very comfortable. Two beds are on the first floor, and two are on the second. There are three bathrooms. The one upstairs is very unique but works well. It's perfect for family and college kids as well. It is located near the downtown area.

This was such an amazing place! Everything was super clean, private, and peaceful. I would recommend this place to anyone and we would definitely go back. Thank you so much Aimee for being such a great host.

Cute lil spot! Secluded and quiet. Had everything we needed with awesome views. Great layout for large families.Justin was very helpful and responsive. We had to plan a last minute trip and he went out of his way to help. Kids had a blast walking the little trails. We will definitely be returning!

This was our second stay at this campground and it has always been great. Short distance to the Ren Faire while still having the feel of being out in the country. Can’t wait until toilets can be installed, but having a hot shower was awesome!! We will definitely be back next year!!

A nice place if you want to get away from Houston and go glamping in one of the tents. Otherwise it’s primitive camping which is what myself and my daughter did. It was fun for a 3 year old and fun to just get away and relax in the woods.

We had a great evening in the Zen Den tent! The tent was cozy with a comfy bed, and the outdoor shower was nice. The porter potty was clean and easy to use. At night, we loved stargazing! It was peaceful and a perfect escape from daily life.

Great little cabin, and ai love the Renaissance theme!

I booked a stay for my birthday and took a friend with me! The grounds were beautiful and quiet, with a great view of the sky day or night. The camper is perfectly sized for one or two people to share, and we had a great time around the fire pit in the evenings. This is a wonderful place to reconnect with nature. I would love to return in the future!

Dana was an amazing host! We were having some issues with one of the glamp tents and she let us upgrade to a cabin for free! Everything was very clean, and we had a great time. We will be coming back here for our next camp out.

Very nice little place. Was pretty close to other guests which I didn’t expect, but overall everything was awesome.

The perfect location if you are having a wedding at Camp Hosea! We were only there about 20 hrs. Between Fri- Sun but the place was clean, adorable, good amenities, enough room for all and 10 minutes from the venue! It was hard to find at 10:30 pm - after rehearsal dinner, but that’s on us. The GPS does take you past it to mailbox, but Valerie let me know that, provided satellite pics and landmarks ( look git the shed and hanging hammock). Bride, bridesmaids and Mom went up Friday night, hubby came up Saturday with the family and had no trouble finding it. There is a very steep climb and large ruts in the dirt path that need to be filled or smoothed ( but wedding cakes did not flip over!). The inside is beautiful and well maintained- check it out if you are in the Andersen area!

This is the 2nd time we have been to this location and it will always be our home away from home.

A wonderful place to relax away from the crowds at our son's graduation from Texas A&M, and an easy drive to Houston. Everything is just as shown in the photos and described, and John was very responsive and helpful. We especially enjoyed the history - of the house, the Fanthorp Inn historic site (and their very friendly and knowledgeable volunteers), and "downtown" Anderson with its 2 antique stores and Toasted Tomato (we didn't have a chance to try the others). As an old house with lots of character, it does have some quirks (steps up to the house and down to the bathroom) that may make it challenging for those with impaired mobility, but with handrails my 80-year-old father had no problems. We hope to come back again sometime!

We had a wonderful stay. I wish we could have spent more time at the house, but we were constantly on the go! However, the time we did spend at the house was very peaceful and lovely. We really enjoyed the floor to ceiling windows, especially on Friday night when we could view the distant lightning. It was a spectacular show! Thank you Hillary for your hospitality and kindness.

The home we stayed in was lovely. The inside was beautiful and well stocked with pots , pans, washing machine, dryer-just like home. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept like a baby. The house is 35 minutes away from college station and the drive was direct and pleasant to and from college station. Easy to find even at night-there was a big sign on the road so you would not miss it. I would rent this home again and we had a lovely weekend. We were there for family weekend. The host, house and the surroundings was fabulous and I would suggest this rental to anyone. The porch was so lovely-there is a swing and I had my coffee in the morning on that swing. I repeat, a great place to be at and I will be going back. Thank you for a lovely stay. Tomalee

Phillip was a fantastic host who took great care of us. We enjoyed staying at his home, it’s a very quiet and peaceful place, we will definitely be back for a 3rd time and more.

The house is comfortable and clean. The kitchen is well stocked and great for cooking. Most of all Kathy has been great and patient with us throughout our entire stay. We appreciate all her help.
