Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. Relax and unwind in our detached cottage in a natural setting, right next to the church in the heart of Oostwoud! Enjoy the views over the farmyard and the farmlands towards Abbekerk, Twisk/Opperdoes and Medemblik. Overlook continuous fishing and boating waters. Rent a boat or a SUP and go on the water! Nature reserve "Het Egboetswater" is nearby, and the beach of the sweet sea at Medemblik is also worth it. Cycling, walking, sailing or by car? You can go anywhere from here!

Stap binnen in een uniek stukje Twisk: de volledig gerestaureerde Zuivelfabriek Rosita, waar verleden en toekomst elkaar in stijl ontmoeten. Hier slaap je letterlijk in de oude kaaskelder of onder de historische kaaszolder – plekken waar decennialang het rijke Twisker erfgoed werd gekoesterd. Nu getransformeerd tot twee luxe appartementen voor vier personen, ieder met een geheel eigen karakter.

The vacation home/apartment has two beautiful bedrooms with private sanitary facilities in the room. HD TV and good WiFi is available as well as a garage for your motorcycle or e-bike with charging point. ​

Renovated old farmhouse near the IJsselmeer

Enjoy peace, space and cosiness in this authentic farmhouse. Our farmhouse was built in 1904 according to West Frisian model, and has served as a garnish shop in addition to farmhouse. When we bought the farm, he was 116 years old, and had the necessary overdue maintenance. A little bit of a renovation of the house, so it now has well-functioning heating! We'll put Airbnb's proceeds back in the house, so we're now saving for the rooftop renovation.
