Mountain Views at a Smart Hilltop Home with Solar Power

Gaze over the Moot from a covered, lit dining terrace. Immaculate, clean-lined, contemporary interiors flow via sliding glass walls onto a generous wraparound deck. Black and steel accents complement airy whites, soft greys, and organic, earthy tones. We have solar power. The house has three separate bedrooms each with an En Suite bathroom on the ground level accessed through an electric gate with a small front yard. The living areas are spacious and open plan with lots of light and an outdoor feel. There is no garden, however, lots of outdoor space with an incredible view of the mountain and valley that is known as The Moot. Enjoy your stay in a relaxed, easy to care space. You will have the whole place to yourselves! Good communication is important to us and we will respond as quickly as possible. We are happy to answer any questions regarding travel, attractions, places to visit and everything that interest you. The house is at the top of a steep driveway in quiet Villieria, one of Pretoria’s oldest neighbourhoods. It is close to the highway, university, hospitals, embassies and amenities. Find shops, cafes, and restaurants just down the road. In addition to Uber and metered taxis, a bus to the Gautrain station leaves from Webb Street in the nearby Queenswood. A bus service and a bus to the Gautrain station is available just 200 meters down the road. Metered taxi's or Uber are available too. Parking for 1 car is available on the property. Situated on top of a hill, it may be a challenging drive into the driveway for some. There is a double garage with direct access into the scullery. The property is safe, enclosed and has an alarm.

"Deep in the Mountains" Deluxe

A great hidden gem in Pretoria. The area is very safe and peaceful. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. Side note: Location is also close and easy to travel to Valley Farm Animal hospital. If your pet also needs to stay overnight at the hospital and you don’t live nearby I would suggest booking at Clarel’s place so you can be nearby if need be.

He was very response via messager, provided great recommendations for transport, activities and resturants. The apartment was exactly as described and beautifully decorated. My partner and I spent the weekend there and loved every moment. The home is stunning, both inside and out, with thoughtful touches that make it feel welcoming and serene. We enjoyed peaceful sunrises and breathtaking sunsets, and spent our evenings braaing under the stars, kept warm by the convenient outdoor gas heater. One of the highlights was a guided morning walk with our wonderful host, Henriette. She was warm, knowledgeable, and made our stay even more memorable. I genuinely can't fault this place. It’s tranquil, beautifully maintained, and offers the perfect mix of comfort and nature. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay at Ilze's place. Our check in went smooth. We were greeted by a very clean, modern and tidy bachelor pad. The little amenities of coffee, tea, sugar, body wash etc was a nice touch. The estate is safe and quiet. The Ilze was very responsive. We had a lovely stay and would definitely use it again. From our first communication to the last minute before checkout we felt right at home at Ruby Cottage. Hanli is extremely responsive and accommodating and boasts a beautiful little retreat just outside the city but not too far away from where you need to go. Extra care has been taken in small details like labels for soap and bigger needs like provision against the colder winter days. We will visit again if in the area.
