Holiday rentals with beach access in Gros, Donostia

We stayed for 4 nights in this beautiful apartment. It was lovely to return after a busy day of sightseeing and sit and watch the river rise and fall with the tides. A great neighbourhood to wander around away from the old town but close enough to walk in for some pinxos and wine. We ate at Bodega Donastria a few times which was just around the corner. Fabulous food and service. The perfect place to stay in SS, so much better than a hotel.

We stayed here to attend a wedding nearby and had a very comfortable stay. Would stay here against and recommend to others. It can get noisy from the road below and needs better blinds / curtains (the ones there are only privacy blinds and the sun shines through). Also, keep in mind there is no AC and although it was only 20C during our stay, it got very warm. I do think it’s a little on the expensive side for what it is, but really nice stay!

Spacious, comfortable apartment in the Gros neighborhood of San Sebastián. The location is great, surrounded by restaurants, cafes, markets, etc. The apartment faces inside and it's very quiet. The roll-down shades make the apartment really dark which is great for sleeping. The apartment has an open setup so there's lots of room in the kitchen area. The apartment is located in the 1st floor which makes it easy to walk up but there's also an elevator. The place is located close to the beach (~10 minute walk) but there's no "direct access" per se as mentioned on the listing. The apartment has both a dish washer and a laundry washing machine which is very useful.

We have been to San Sebastián many times and Brenda’s apartment is very high on our list of top airbnbs in this beautiful city. Very clean and peaceful. Everything is walkable and Brenda is a fantastic host. Proactive from the minute we arrived until we left. Plenty of excellent restaurant recommendations and suggestions of what to do during our stay. We had perfect week coupled with the wonderful weather at the end of October. Thanks Brenda!

An absolutely wonderful place to stay, made our few days in San Sebastián very special. We have already said to Jon that we would like to come back! The apartment is in the perfect location, beautifully furnished, and tremendously relaxing. Having a balcony with a view straight to the beach is idyllic.

We had an incredible time in San Sebastián and a lot of that had to do with our stay here. Such a great location with amazing restaurants and bars near by (you must try Desy Vegas). Paula’s flat was spacious, stylish and had beautiful natural light. 10 out of 10 would recommend to a friend!

Excelente estancia en san Sebastián! Las vistas desde el departamento son de en sueño! Loli y Patxi se encargaron de que nunca nos faltara nada! Muy atentos en todo momento. Si volvemos a san Sebastián, definitivamente nos quedaríamos aquí de nuevo 😊

Nous avons passé un excellent week-end tous ensemble. La maison est située dans un environnement on ne peux plus paisible, rempli de charme. Très fonctionnelle, et restaurée avec gout. La communication avec Christine a été excellente, toutes les informations nécessaires pour notre arrivée nous ont étés données avec précision. Hôte très flexible sur les horaires ce qui nous à permis de partir plus tranquillement après notre course cycliste. Nous recommandons vivement !

Beautiful home with high class style. Half block to the sea and walking path to city. Was a lovely place for a family as each room is on its own level so it gives adults some privacy from kids. Beautiful and elegant highly recommend.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la maison de Xavier qui est très agréable, moderne et design, très bien équipée et très confortable. La situation est idéale pour rayonner dans la région et est proche de la plage et des commerces. Nous recommandons à 100%

Notre week-end entre amies s'est très bien déroulé dans le logement de Valérie. Il correspondait nos attentes. Il est bien équipé, nous n'avons manqué de rien. La literie nous a convenu. La plage est accessible à pieds (on peut passer par un bout de forêt, c'est pentu 10/15min). Le centre de Bidart et sa place sont accessibles à pieds (environ 20 min) et nous y avons bien mangé. Boulangerie, charcuterie, fromagerie à proximité.

Logement extrêmement bien situé à 2 pas de la plage, quelques bar en bord de mer à proximité. Centre facile d’accès en voiture. Le logement est très propre, fonctionnel et calme ( malgré la proximité du camping ). Petit bémol avec escalier non sécurisé ( logement au premier étage ) et 2 fenêtres dans la chambre sans volet qui ont nécessité un peu d’adaptation avec un bébé marchant. T re s bonne communication avec Paul. Nous reviondrons avec plaisir.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la maison de Yolande. Au calme et proche de tout Ciboure Socoa ou Saint jean de luz à 10 minutes en voiture. Calme, avec un intérieur décoré avec soin, une pièce de vie avec un volume incroyable et des extérieurs propices au repos et à la sérénité. La maison est largement conforme aux photos. Yolande est très réactive et de bons conseils. Maison propre et très bien équipée. Nous reviendrons très prochainement. Allez y les yeux fermés vous ne serez pas déçus.

8 of us ( 3 generations) enjoyed Patricia's house & the exceptional, ever changing views. The house was spotless & very well equipped for lots of cooking. We were blessed with glorious weather which meant we were never forced to sit indoors as the comfy seating is a bit lacking for more than 6 people, although there is plenty outdoors. The sunshine enabled us to go out every day, walking, or with the numerous public transport options, so a car is not necessarily needed. Patricia was very helpful & informative, showing some of us around & offering tips, but a house manual with local information & recommendations would be a useful extra. Thank you Patricia.

Great little apartment ! Close to the train station. The elevator is definitely a plus. Spotlessly clean. I really enjoyed my time here and would stay here again !

We had a great stay here, it was in the perfect location and the apartment is lovely! The hosts also went above and beyond to help me when I lost a precious item as I am not familiar with the area!

We stayed in Tom’s apartment for a week in June. Tom’s so kind and friendly, he met us at the airport late at night and drove us to the apartment. He gave us lots of advice about the area. The apartment is in a fantastic location 5 minutes walk from the beach and 10 minutes in the centre of Biarritz There are some good shops and restaurants 2 minutes walk away. There is an excellent bus service 5 minutes walk away. The apartment is on the second floor, with lovely views from the balcony where we ate breakfast every morning. It was spotlessly clean with great shower and comfortable bed. The small kitchen had everything we needed. I would recommend the apartment without hesitation.

Helen kept us well informed of where to park and arrival instructions. We arrived later than expected due to car issues and she arranged for a lovely helpful friend to meet us. The apartment was immaculately clean and well equipped, with everything that you could need plus lots of extra touches. There was milk, Beer, water and soft drink in the fridge which was appreciated and plenty of tea/ coffee and condiments if needed. The apartment was spacious and everywhere smelt clean and inviting. I would not hesitate to recommend staying at Helens place
