Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Gros Islet

Why aren't there 10 stars? Tee was fantastic! First, we pestered her endlessly with questions before we went; our daughter was getting married and we were hosting a brunch (small extra charge to host a party). We got in late, and still she met us and welcomed us warmly. She even offered to help me cook for the brunch (although I ended up with lots of help--so we invited her over to join us, and she charmed everyone). There aren't any pictures of the living or dining rooms, both of which are quite large, as is the kitchen. The pictures don't do Tee's Island Home justice. It is just lovely. And, while there isn't air conditioning in the living areas, you just open the doors and windows and there's a lovely breeze. The kitchen has most of what you need, and if you need something, Tee will try to provide it. The oven doesn't have temperature marks, and I had to bake, so she got me an oven thermometer! The house is wonderful, and the hostess is the best--we made a friend, and you will, too.

Len's place was absolutely amazing! The view is breathtaking and inspiring. The house was very spacious for our group of 4 with comfortable beds and cool bedrooms. It was an easy walk to the Sandals beach and Pigeon Island. As others (and the listing) have mentioned, the house is difficult to find and accessible only via a steep bumpy unpaved road. We arrived at night with only the written directions that Len messaged us (house does not appear in GPS). Once we arrived and were able to pin the location, it was easy to get to the house via GPS. I believe Len now has the pinned location to provide to guests. Whatever it takes to access the house, it is worth it for the unbeatable views and comfort.

The Pink House is THE ONLY PLACE to stay in Rodney Bay. Right on the water, lots of private parking, gated community, walking to grocery, night life, all amenities. The home itself is large and inviting. Lots of space for family or friends. We found the value very good, and would recommend it to anyone. Thank you Wilbertha for being so kind and welcoming. Natural Vibes captures the original AirBnB spirit of hospitality, and Cri and her family exemplify this. Right from booking, Cri was attentive without being intrusive, her warm welcome made us feel like old friends and she went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed. The unit matches its photos, offering ample space for a couple with essentials like AC, fast broadband, a great shower, and a large fridge, but also lots of homely touches with original art, ornaments, fresh fruit and cookies. Located on a quiet suburban road, it’s a 5 minute walk to Rodney Bay’s shops, banks and restaurants and a further 10 minutes to Reduit Beach. Local buses are available for a few dollars to easily reach the bars and restaurants overlooking the harbour at Rodney Bay’s marina. We were attending St Lucia ‘s Jazz festival on Pigeon Island, so the location was ideal for our visit. Only regret was we couldn’t stay longer and take a boat trip with Lincoln…. Next time! We stayed at Kandace and Sahleem’s place for nearly a month and it was perfect. The check in process was super easy and communication with the hosts was brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble. The location is very secure and it is also really close to shops and restaurants in Rodney Bay. The pool was great as some days it was really warm and it was lovely to have a place to cool down. Would highly recommended renting a car for your stay here. Will definitely recommend to friends and would return again.

We can’t say enough great things about this property, Cosmos, Amanda and the resident dog, Rex!! From the moment I reached out to Cosmos the owner, and let him know we were planning to get married in St. Lucia, he immediately asked how he could help and truly made our stay the best it could be! Him and his team went above and beyond and really made us feel at home and were extremely attentive throughout our stay and answered all questions we had. The home itself is picturesque and a short walk to a quiet little beach that we had to ourselves. It was also the most beautiful backdrop to some pre-wedding pictures we took, and the sunset viewing was unmatched! We look forward to returning, seeing our new friend Rex who we miss, and hopefully reconnecting with Amanda and Cosmos.

We had a very pleasant stay at Val’s apartment. She is a very kind and responsive host. The place is conveniently located and well equipped for beach trips, with towels, a cooler, and chairs provided. The view is amazing and private, and the rooms are very clean. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend Val’s apartment at Rodney bay.

It allowed team members to shared a living space and build closer bonds. Home away from home.

Not my 1st stay here definitely wont be my last. It’s everything as described and more, the added bonus of the rental car this time made my trip all the more easy and less stress. The hosts are truly my favourite of all air BnB I’ve stayed in various different locations, my loyalty will never allow me to stay anywhere else on future trips.

One of the best in island very clean I’ll be back again

This was our first time in St. Lucia and Villa Vino made it a perfect visit. It rained some of our time there and we were able to enjoy the property more. We booked massages through hand of gold and it was amazing( recommended in the property book) we also enjoyed some of the local cuisine recommended. The host communication throughout our stay was timely and helpful. The property is very clean and the view is impeccable. Would definitely stay again when we return.

This was my first solo-travel getaway trip and I couldn’t have picked a better host than Nestor. His place felt like home. Safe, clean, quiet, and well appointed. The shower was heavenly and I was able to comfortably cook dinner a few nights during my stay. The added touch for me as a garden and plant lover was the beautiful landscaping outside Nestor’s home. I’ll definitely be back to St. Lucia and will not hesitate to book with Nestor and his family again!

The place was great for me. I travelled solo and had rented a car. There's a space for parking. If you don't have a car, you can use the bus, which is not too far from the main road. There's a restaurant in walking distance. I'd definitely recommend this place and I'd stay again in the future.

A great place to bring your entire family including kids, my toddler had a blast! Would definitely be choosing this place every time that I visit!!!

We had an amazing stay at Stacy’s place . In our opinion the photos don’t do the house justice it is a beautiful clean spacious environment. Stacy and her mum could not be more helpful. We were felt at home immediately. The garden is kept beautifully and was amazing to look at. The house is located well even if you don’t drive it’s a short walk to either Reduit Beach or Gros Islet Beach. Or there is also a bus stop at the end of the road if you needed a lift in to Castries or further. We are so grateful for Ralphie (Stacy’s mum) who gave us some home made green seasoning when we couldn’t find any thyme in the supermarket. It was delicious. We hope to book again when we come back to St Lucia

Chrissy's Villa was amazing. I was truly able to relax and enjoy staying at "home" at the villa. when staying here, you definitely need to rent a car If you're looking to adventure. if you're just looking to soak in the sun & beauty of saint lucia from a quiet location with private pool and breath taking views this is also the best place to be.

Lovely comfortable accommodation provided by extremely helpful and friendly hosts. Helped rearrange a tour for us at very short notice due to illness using their local knowledge whilst avoiding cancellation charges. Will hopefully be returning here and will recommend it to family and friends

This location was great! I can not express enough how great Brenda and Cynthia were. I traveled solo and they made me feel right at home and were able to make themselves available anytime I needed them. Brenda was able to hook me up with excursions last minute and rides to and from the grocery store and beach nearby. I definitely recommend this Airbnb! They are awesome

Paul & Catherine were the absolute best hosts!! They were always there to answer any questions and to help us out. Paul even came and met us when we got lost getting to the Airbnb and we followed him there. The unit had everything we needed for our stay. It was in a great location close to some really great restaurants and of course Vigie Beach. It was fun watching the small planes come in and take off on the runway but was not a problem at all at night. Very peaceful and comfortable and the view was absolutely amazing! Thank you Paul and Catherine for everything!!

Jenny's place was very peaceful and quite comfy for 3 or 4 people. She was very responsive, patient and understanding (even when our actions led to an unfortunate incident). The co-host was also friendly and extremely helpful. Would definitely consider for my next stay in Castries. Thank you for a great experience!

I had a wonderful stay, the flat was clean and just as the photos described. Pamela was very responsive and accommodating. I will recommend this place to anyone.
