Family-friendly holiday rentals in Grubine

This was the most beautiful place. The views were breathtaking and the apartment was spacious and comfortable. Edi was a great host and very accommodating. We fell in love with Hvar and if we ever came back, this is where I’d want to stay!

This was one of our favourite stays in Croatia. The accommodation far exceeded our expectations. Spacious apartment, perfectly equipped, tastefully furnished and sparkling clean. Quietly located, with fantastic views of the sea. This accommodation is outstanding. Natali is a warm, helpful and reliable hostess. We hope that we can come back one day.

By far the best Airbnb stay I've ever had! Josipa and her father were kind enough to transfer us to and from the Hvar town to the apartment (apartment is on a steep hill with steps). Josipa was really friendly and shared us some of her favourite restaurants and things to do on the island. The apartment was beyond incredible, the rooms were perfectly air conditioned and she provided lots of useful amenities including beach towels, slippers and a washing machine. The view was beautiful, you can see the Pakleni islands very clearly and Vis in the background. The hot tub was easy to use and fantastic in the evening. There were also plenty of furniture including sunbeds. The location was brilliant, it was only a 15 minute walk to a nearby public beach and was fairly easy to walk up and down to town in the evening, although be cautious during midday as there isn't much shade. There is also a supermarket about 15 mins away a few streets down. Great for couples or up to four people!

Maya, her son, and father are amazing!!! Very friendly and accommodating. We spent the most time here during our 2 week Euro trip. Fantastic views from the balcony and a great place to relax with lounge chairs and a table to eat at. Right on the water with a great walk down to the shore where you can jump right into the sea! Space was modern, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was SO nice. By far the nicest bathroom of anywhere we stayed. Maya's father took us out on his boat with his beagle. It was amazing. He knew the best spots, shared cool information/stories. It was a very authentic/non touristy experience. Maya let us borrow snorkel gear and that was beyond awesome because we snorkeled in the sea by the house but also on our boat trip which was truly special. She also provided homemade olive oil which was divine. WONDERFUL experience and stay.

It was a great stay. There were two of us and there was plenty of room. The apartment would also be well suited for four people. The sofa covers look a bit old-fashioned, but the sensational view of the sea and the large terrace with whirlpool makes you forget that immediately. The landlady was very accommodating and helpful. The transport from the airport to the accommodation was perfectly organized. Thank you for everything

We loved our stay with Andrey & Nive. They are such thoughtful and kind hosts and nothing seems too much trouble. We had a late flight so they kindly prepared us some food on arrival. Additionally they cooked us a tradition meal one night and their daughter also baked a cake - all were delicious. The place was clean and well stocked. It was an ideal location if you want something relaxing but is a short drive to Split. We had such a relaxing, peaceful stay and loved our time there. We could not have asked for more. We would highly recommend Nive and Andrey's place, you will not be left disappointed. Thanks again for the wonderful stay.

We had such a wonderful stay at Zvonimir’s place in Podstrana! The home was beautiful, clean, and had an absolutely stunning view, the kind you don’t forget. Zvonimir and his family were exceptional hosts: kind, welcoming, and genuinely thoughtful. One of the highlights was receiving some delicious homemade treats that made us feel right at home. Everything about our stay exceeded expectations, and we’d absolutely come back again. Highly recommend!

The apartment was spotless and communication before and during our stay excellent. The morning coffee and evening drink on the balcony overlooking the town and port was lovely. As we arrived earlier than check in it was nice being told to come and drop bags and sit by the pool. As it turned out the room was ready which was great. On our last day we were again offered the opportunity to check out late as our ferry was until the afternoon. Highly recommended

We had a wonderful stay in Jelsa – the accommodation was exactly what we were looking for in a relaxing vacation. It is peacefully and idyllically located, yet just a 5-minute walk from the center of Jelsa, making it the perfect base for exploring the town and the island of Hvar. Our host Benko was absolutely fantastic – very friendly, helpful, and always available whenever we had questions or needed recommendations. You can tell right away that he genuinely cares about the well-being of his guests. The accommodation itself was clean, well-maintained, and well-equipped, with everything you need. We felt very comfortable and welcome, and truly enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. We would come back anytime and can highly recommend staying with Benko!

Fabulous beach house vibe. We absolutely loved staying right on the beach - beautiful sunlit mornings, spectacular sunsets and easy to swim (even if the water was a little chilly!). Short easy walk into the chilled out village of Drasnice with relaxing seafront cafes. Excellent location on the Makarska Riviera with easy access (by car) to amazing beaches like Punta Rata at Brela. If you fancy a bit of adventure, it's also convenient for the Bikovo National Park with its dramatic Skywalk. Emi was a very kind host, giving us homemade bread and cookies and even a souvenir gift at the end of our stay. Her son Rato was also very helpful and quickly responded to our request for more towels. The house is a cosy beach cottage, quite rustic but very cute. The kitchen is small and doesn't have an oven so it challenged our cooking skills a bIt but we got on fine and there is a dishwasher, washing machine and great shower.

A rare occasion when a house is a paradise for both children and parents, so neither of the parties needs to compromise. even though the house is located on a hill, the play area is properly fenced so as a parent you can relax and enjoy breathtaking views in peace. our children loved the playground so much they didn't want to leave the house. Driving to the house is doable even for inexperienced drivers like us. you need to be careful and follow the host's instructions closely. If in doubt which road to take, better ask, turning on a hill is no fun.

What a fantastic location. Peace and quiet and the beautiful sea. Lovely hospitable hosts. Super friendly and genuine. The BBQd fish they bought us for lunch was the best we had ever had. If you want to get away from it all then this is the place to come. We stayed a week and didn’t use the car once.

Tonci's accommodation is a hidden gem. The approach is very steep and due to a bottleneck, it is recommended to use a small car (we rented a VW Polo and a Renault Capture). However, the hardships are definitely worth it! We were greeted around 8:30 pm by Tonci personally. He had provided a small cheese/sausage platter and showed us the apartment. Contrary to the statement that there was no hot water, there was some, you just had to turn the boiler switch. The apartment was clean and looked like the pictures. Up in the mountains, you have a lot of privacy. The nearest neighbors live a good 60m away. Tonci came by about every three days to maintain the pool (refill chlorine tablets and measure water level). While the pool was being refilled, there was time for questions about the surroundings and small conversations. We more than enjoyed our stay and can only recommend this accommodation.

In a nutshell: if Antonio's place is available, just book it. This place is all about the views, which were amazing from each level. I've never been to such a well equipped Airbnb. The kitchen had all sorts of cutlery, pots and tupperware which made cooking and serving communal meals easy. Oil etc was provided and the welcome platter was perfect for our first night. The outdoor wood fired BBQ was great too, we used that twice during our stay. Simple things like having an ice machine made everything easy, with the outside fridge we barely had to go inside. All en suite bedrooms was also a great feature, with plenty of towels and amenities. Lots of super markets nearby, we found Kaufland the best for a big shop. Hire cars were a must for is, though we were able to get ubers to and from the villa. The road up is quite steep, and realistically not easily walkable, but that comes with the private view you get at the top which really is panoramic with sunshine from sun rise to sunset

What a fantastic stay, the villa is better than the photos it’s a beautiful place, modern with an old Croatian feel. The outdoor oven being a real highlight of the trip, the pool area and the hottub all great. Bozo was unbelievable as a host, we say it’s the little touches make the difference and when I messaged asking if there was any coal anywhere win the villa for the fire, I received two bags at our door within minutes from his place next door, we also got extra check out time on our leaving days as there was a gap between the next guest. To say he went over and above is an understatement. Location is brilliant for Split, and Podstrana has been built up since our last visit to the area, both are within minutes and Ubers are affordable if you’re not driving or drinking. Split stole our hearts again and we would not hesitate the revisit Bozos place.

I came to spend a few days with my mother in Tafra's accommodation, it was a great Airbnb with an incredible view. The pool and hot tub are a real plus. The accommodation was very clean with everything you need in it. We can't wait to go back.

This villa is heaven! The views and outdoor space are beyond amazing. We already want to come back. The hosts are so friendly and offered to get groceries for us and fresh fish if we wanted. The mini apartment room downstairs is a nice treat as well. Book a rental car for the island, you will be on a quiet end of the island & need transportation. You will not regret booking this place!!

Villa Sima in Makarska is an excellent choice for holidays in Croatia! The modern, spacious villa impresses with its cleanliness and comfort. Four bedrooms, each with a bathroom and air conditioning, provide relaxation for the whole group. The kitchen is fully equipped – from a dishwasher to a coffee machine, and the dining room and patio overlooking the heated pool are the perfect place for evening dinners. The hosts are extremely kind, always ready to advise on local attractions. The location of the villa, about 1.5 km from the beach and a 20-minute walk from the center of Makarska, guarantees peace and easy access to the charms of Dalmatia. The area encourages sightseeing – from the beaches of the Adriatic to the Krka National Park. This is a great place for families and groups looking for comfort and a Croatian atmosphere! I highly recommend it. We'll be back 😎👍🏻

This property in Makarska is arguably one of the best on the Croatian coast. The impressive and spectacular mountain range in the background contrasts superbly with the majestic view over the glistening Mediterranean. As for the property itself, the choice of two pools – indoor and outdoor, mixed with outstanding amenities indoor and outdoor ensure nothing goes wanting. The house has four levels – a basement level with pool, impressive kitchen and dining area; ground floor with main kitchen and living area; first floor with bedrooms and impressive bathroom; and finally a large attic space with large third bedroom and extra living space. The owners have gone to great lengths to add all the extra, small touches that take this property to the next level. For example, ample supply of towels and linen ensure guests (even large families) don’t need to do laundry, while ample supply of basic cooking ingredients, oils, utensils and other kitchen supplies means you feel right at home. In summary, amazing views, impressive property and great location. We will be back next summer.

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The house was exactly as described – clean, cozy, and equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect, close to local attractions and in a quiet, peaceful area. The host was very friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable.
