Such a beautiful and quiet place to stay in. The apt was absolutely charming, comfortable, and spacious! You also get a discount going up a gondola that's right next door! I think my only complaint is that the shower was a little claustrophobic. Could help if there's a glass door rather than a curtain. But other than that, it was an amazing stay!

Ruth was very kind to explain everything from check in to how to use facilities inside the house even though everything was already stated clearly, she made sure we were comfortable and double checked with us if we had any more questions and concerns. She recommend us local food and which places had better food. The accommodation was perfect, couldn’t ask for a better view and host. There were 2 bedrooms , a separate living room and kitchen as well with a top floor view of the mountain right at the balcony outside the rooms. It is very peaceful especially in the evening where you just want a little quiet time with a cup of hot chocolate facing the mountain. Totally would recommend this place to anyone who is staying in Grindelwald especially if you need convenience, it is right outside the Grindelwald terminal. One of the best Airbnb I have stayed! Would love to stay here again when I visit in the future.

We can’t speak highly enough about Anke and her apartment. The whole experience was truly incredible! From breathtaking views right from the front patio, to walkability and free bus to everywhere we wanted to go, to Ankes great local recommendations and her sweet personality- She made us feel right at home immediately. The apartment is pristine and larger than it looks in photos. We loved having coffee out on the private patio in the mornings and wine in the evenings while gazing at the beautiful view of the Eiger! Grindelwald is a very special place and we can’t wait to come back and stay with Anke again!

It was the most perfect Airbnb accommodation I've ever been to. There were all the cooking utensils (even a potato knife) and seasonings, so it was so nice to cook and eat, so I cooked and ate every day. What I liked the most was the really perfect cleanliness. It's cleaner than most hotels. The owner is really clean. And he's so kind. Also, the view is really nice... It was a view that I didn't get tired of looking at. It is not a famous chalet for Koreans, but it is a hidden gem. I want to come again in 10 years. Grandma Elisabeth! Stay healthy until then🥰

It's a little far from Grindelwald Station, but the bus is also running, and it's far from the main hotels, so it's very serene and peaceful. If I go back, I'll visit again.

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was clean, cozy, and in a great location—perfect for exploring the area. 10 minutes walk to town centre, supermarkets and First cable car. 10 minutes drive to Eiger gondola. Communication was smooth, and check-in was hassle-free. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, and we really appreciated the comfort after long days out. One suggestion: having a washer and dryer would be especially helpful, especially during wet weather. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

The accommodation looked exactly like the photos and was very clean. Most of all, the house was so warm and cozy, which I really loved. It was also close to the terminal station, and the view was absolutely amazing.

We are so pleased that we picked this place which is peace and quiet. It is out of town and we had a car but if you are travelling on public transport it is no problem as the bus stop is right outside. The view was wonderful, a few Swiss houses dotted amongst the green fields was all that was between us and the Eiger rearing up behind. Heidi and her family were great hosts, always responsive and friendly. We were far happier staying here than we would have been right in the town. Great spot!

Livia's place is great, everything was spotless and comfortable. She gave us a crib with a cool gift for our daughter. The balcony has a beautiful view, and the apartment has everything you need to cook, wash clothes, etc. She was very helpful during our stay. Super recommend.

We had a very comfortable stay with a toddler. The house is very clean, quite large and offers stunning views of Mount Eiger and the valley filled with beautiful Swiss chalets. Ideally located between Grindelwald village and two different train stations, just a short bus ride away if you prefer not to walk. Had all the amenities we needed and is perfect for a long stay. Highly recommend it!

Marlise is so nice! She gave me 5FR directly when I said I had no coin for luggage deposit at the train station. She also helped me fill in the guest form since I forgot to do so. The house is located on a small hill. You need to climb around 15mins with your luggage to get there, that’s a bit exhausting. But the view is pretty nice, exactly the same as shown! You also need to bring your own shampoo and body wash.

Stacey was a great host that met the us at the door and gave us helpful hints on things to do. The view from the porch was AMAZING and so peaceful. We spent almost every minute there when back from the very convenient hikes just a short way away. I would absolutely recommend staying here … literally can be in a hot tub looking up at Staubach Falls like it was your very own private waterfall.

Once we arrived Bart greatest is. He was extremely friendly and answered any questions we had. His place was clean and it was definitely what was pictured. The location was peaceful and the ability to sit in the Hot tub in the evening time and gaze out at the mountains and listen to the cowbells. I would highly recommend this place.

Chuen was a great host and should be proud what he has done with his Swiss home. It’s a perfect accomodation to stay in a peaceful traditional place in Switzerland home, surrounded by mountains and beautiful scenery whilst having everything you need, including a kitchen, great bed and bathroom for exploring the Swiss landscape. The hike from the train station is a little steep for those with suitcases, but for those back packing it is worth it. Would recommend to anyone staying in Switzerland!
