If you are looking to explore the Breaks Interstate Park and the Crooked Road we would love to have you stay at our new renovated loft. This top floor loft features 1 bedroom with a queen bed and a queen sofa bed. A full kitchen and bathroom with shower tub combo with washer and dryer. The loft is 8 miles from the Breaks Interstate Park and is directly on the spearhead trail. Plenty of parking for all your vehicles and trailers.

Located approximately 6 minutes to War, WV and HMT trailhead. A Short, nice ride to the Wilmore Dam, and to High Rocks. NEW ADDITIONAL PARKING FOR LARGE TRAILERS across the street from the Cottage. In addition to approximately 50 ft. in front, 40 ft. in back, 30 ft. on the side of the cottage. SEE PARKING PHOTOS. We are on Rt 16, part of the ”Head of the Dragon” Motorcycle Riding Route in Caretta, WV. You will have easy on/off access to “Warrior Trail” from Caretta or War.

Cowan Creek Cottage is close to the Cowan Community Center and only 5½ miles outside the city limits of Whitesburg. The cottage is located at the foothills of Pine Mountain. You’ll love the cottage and enjoy the feel of having your own little home in the mountains. Resting on an acre of land and right off I 81 enjoy your stay in our cozy, country cottage.
