Cottage holiday rentals in Guadix

At Casa Lopez, we stayed for 1.5 months as 5 adults, a child, and a dog. Occasionally, we were up to 10 people, but space was never an issue. The villa is beautiful with stunning views of the mountains and surroundings. The mountain road to the villa adds charm, and the place feels comfortable and safe—even accessible with a Fiat 500. The villa is more spacious than the photos suggest. Rafael, the host, showed us all the amenities: pool, Jacuzzi, and game room—all in perfect order. We also worked from the villa using the internet without any issues. The area is picturesque, close to beaches, mountains, and towns, with plenty to do. The hosts are very kind and helpful, even recommending a mechanic when needed. After 1.5 months, we still felt their warmth and friendliness. Leaving Casa Lopez was emotional for us. So, I recommend the villa for vacations, as well as a place where after work you can open some wine and jump into the pool. I wish everyone an equally wonderful stay.

We just spent a weekend at Francisco's house in Pozo Alcón, and we couldn't be happier. We were eight friends and the place was perfect for our stay. The house is spacious, very well maintained and has all the necessary amenities to enjoy to the fullest. In addition, it is in a quiet and sunny environment, ideal for disconnecting. Francisco was an excellent host, very attentive and always ready to help us with any questions. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a cozy place in Jaén. We had a really great time in Madre Tierra. Rafa welcomed us and was really helpful for any request we had. The house is comfy, calm and with a great view, close to nice mountain paths. Totally recommended. Thanks again Rafa!

Loli's accommodation is just as described, a place with very cozy stays for a few days of rest. The terraces are amazing, not to mention the spectacular Jacuzzi we really enjoyed. Thank you so much Loli for the kindness you had and the flexibility in entering your home. It was a few days of absolute disconnection, highly recommended. My little girl loves the jacuzzi.

A lovely villa in beautiful surroundings. we were very comfortable and had everything we needed, plus the tomatoes from Juan Antonio's garden were absolutely delicious. The pool was perfect for the kids and it was so peaceful. Great bar nearby in Restabal. We will definitely be back! Thank you so much :)

Beautiful location of the house, about a 10-minute drive on a mountain road from Frigiliana. Beautiful views. The house is simple but very pleasant.

Had a lovely quiet stay, Valentina is a friendly host and gives you clear and convenient instructions. Granada can be reached at a good distance by car, definitely an accommodation I can recommend!

Our stay at Cortijo los Chinos was wonderful and very relaxing.

I cannot recommend Catalina as a host, highly enough. Her place is spotless, beautifully, decorated, and practical. It has everything you could possibly need from the kitchen to the bathroom to the living room , to the bedroom. It is a peaceful, beautiful, serene place to stay So much so that I often did not want to leave it. Catalina is extremely responsive as a host and anticipates all of your needs. As a host myself, I appreciate all of her efforts and recommend her place very highly.

It is a very cozy cottage in a very beautiful environment. The reception was very warm and everything was super clean and well equipped (in terms of kitchen utensils, towels, bedding, ...). The cottage is a bit remote, but with a nice view and yet also easily accessible. Recommended!

The house is situated in a small, quiet suburb near Granada and is a very nice place to stay with special stalk. It is equipped with everything you could ever need and very well maintained. We lacked nothing. You feel right at home. On the roof terrace you have a beautiful view over the area and the mountains in the background. The house has a small disadvantage for people who have difficulties in climbing the stairs, as these are very narrow and steep. But this wasn't a problem for us. At the moment (May 2023), the spot in front of the house is being renovated and it can lead to an increased noise. We were always on the road early, so we didn't mind much. The neighborhood is very friendly. For breakfast, there is a delicious bakery right around two corners. For me, staying there is a recommendation for people who want to escape the stress

We had a great stay in the apartment of Cortes. We were lucky that we were the only ones so we had the whole venue for ourselves. The house has thick walls so that means that it is cool inside. Also it is up on a hill which makes temperature nice during hot summer days. The house is in a quite residential area nearby Padul. You definitely need a car to go around. There is a Spar supermarket nearby. Padul is a small town in the province with some shops, bars and restaurants. Nice to have your coffee there in the morning. Cortes reacts very fast and comes up with suggestions in Granada or other places. If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of Granada this is your place to be!

We had the most wonderful week at Eva's beautiful home. It's truly a magnificent property in breathtaking surroundings. It's been sympathetically restored and is equipped with everything we needed for a peaceful, relaxing self-catering holiday. Eva was the perfect host - always responsive and going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. She also shared recommendations on where to eat and provided valuable information about the area. Another highlight of our stay was Bob, Eva's gorgeous dog. He's incredibly friendly with a real character and playing fetch with him every day was a real treat. One thing worth noting is that the road leading to the property can be a bit tricky to navigate at first. However, Eva was incredibly helpful and met us at the top of the road on our arrival day to guide us in. Once we got the hang of it, it was a breeze. We highly recommend this lovely location, especially if you're looking for a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle.

I am almost a professional traveler, and just before coming to that place I thought: that’s it, only hotels in future . And then that: wow. What a beautiful place, what a wonderful goal in life: revitalizing a whole village, a lost village. And how: an amazing restaurant, friendly people, a place you do not feel as at home, you are at home. Decades of traveling till you find a perfect space, thanks for that. It was a real pleasure and an experience for real travelers, far away from the hotel bunkers and overloaded beaches and cities. We were warmly received by Reijer. As a welcome, there was also a good bottle of wine, which we enjoyed at sunset on the terrace. In front of the house a large lemon grove...the smell was beguiling! The start was just perfect! The casita is beautiful and stylishly decorated and perfectly equipped with everything you could need. We enjoyed the opportunity to relax both on the terrace with great views and in the beautiful green courtyard. Even before arrival, Reijer recommended various hikes to us and otherwise, communicating with him was always helpful, nice and immediate. The bed was very comfortable with a good mattress and in the morning the view from the bed from the window to the mountains can't be beat 👍 We 100% recommend the casita. Thanks, Reijer, for your hospitality!
