Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Guanajuato

We were a group of 8 people. Lots of room and could fit probably easily 15 of you! This place was absolutely amazing, even better than the photos! I was blown away the moment I walked in. The house is beautifully designed, incredibly clean, and filled with thoughtful touches that made our stay feel extra special. Honestly, the pictures don’t do it justice , this home deserves a professional photo shoot to capture how stunning it truly is. Every room exceeded our expectations, and it was clear the hosts put a lot of care into the space. Highly recommend staying here , we’d come back in a heartbeat! We all LOVED IT!!

The room is super nice, full of lots of flora and the place is very pleasant. Excellent cleanliness and you sleep peacefully, the house is very spacious to feel comfortable and at ease. We arrived with a 3-year-old and it was excellent for them too, thanks to the crib and high chair in the room, the excellent water pressure and the spacious bathrooms as well as the rooms and beds. The attention and treatment by the host was incredible, always attentive to all our needs and very kind, 100% recommended the place. Thank you very much for everything ☺️

This house was an absolute gem—full of character and charm, and so much more personal than a standard Airbnb. On top of that, it was spotlessly clean and perfectly located, just a short walk from everything. The highlight was the incredible view over the entire city from the spacious terrace and the top-floor room—the perfect place to start the day. The host was amazing: super responsive (always replied within minutes!) and gave us fantastic recommendations for cultural events, sights, and great places to eat. There are a few quirks, like steep stairs and a nearby bar that plays music in the evening—but the music always stopped by midnight, so it never disturbed us. We absolutely loved our stay and would come back anytime!!

Maritere and Rodrigo were exceptional hosts and went out of their way to solve any problems that arose during our month-long stay, such as when a neighbor blocked our vehicle and when we ran out of gas. The air conditioning was a lifesaver during the hottest month of the year, and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped so we could prepare meals with relative ease. If we weren't already residents of Guanajuato, we'd stay here again!

Highly recommended, the place is as described. There was a situation with the parking, but it was always on the lookout and everything was resolved.

The hosts were extremely helpful and friendly, house was spotless and smelled very fresh. Would definitely stay here again on a return trip!

Our stay at this home was wonderful. The place is huge, much more spacious than we expected, which was a pleasant surprise. Also, it's beautiful, with a neat decor and lovely details that made our stay very nice. What we most appreciated was how quiet the place is, perfect to relax and unwind. Without a doubt, it is a highly recommended space for those looking for spaciousness, beauty and peace.

Gisela is an excellent host, the place is very nice, with an excellent view of the city. It was like being at home, the cleanliness and order were excellent, it was easy to access, and it was great that it has parking. The area is very quiet and safe to rest after touring the city. Our stay was very enjoyable. The space has been painted in wonderful cheery colours and is very well laid out and clean. Stewart and Marie were very helpful when we had questions regarding transportation etc. and always responded right away.

This apartment was perfect for a weekend getaway. Erika was very responsive and helpful, the apartment was clean, and it is in a great location. Would definitely book again!

Great stay in Guanajuato! Erika met me when I arrived and was always quick to respond. Also allowed a flexible checkout which was very nice. Internet was solid at 50/50M or better. Kitchen is a little tight but fine for just me. Quiet location aside from the neighbors dogs but they were easily drowned out with the fan. Apartment is at the top of a steep hill so if you have mobility issues that might be an issue. Personally I enjoyed it though. Guanajuato as a town is awesome though, much better than SMA and Querétaro IMO.

The apartment is a charmer. Yes, drop-dead views of the city day or night. I would have loved a little microwave, but managed with the stove and toaster oven. The place was my retreat. Mery was the best. Came to see me when I got settled. Gave me information about the walk route down to town pointing out a great coffee place on the way, a great breakfast-lunch-dinner restaurant, sites to see, etc. Very sweet host -- like a good friend. She helped me with taxi service arrangements to and from the airport. Huge! That relieved my anxiety of phoning for taxis with my limited Spanish. All in all, Mery and Casa de Colina were a lovely experience and made my stay in Guanajuato very wonderful.

Perfect location in the heart of the city center. And Alejandra was extremely responsive.. when my bus arrived six hours late to Guan. she made arrangements for me to still have a smooth check in.

Absolutely lovely house, with a great view of the city, and away from the noise of the center. It was the perfect mix of peaceful and accessible. As the crow flies, it's very close to the center, but up a steep hill. The stairs to the neighborhood are even and well-maintained, but mostly we were lazy and took the funicular to and from the Pipila monument, which costs $40 MXN and is a 5 minute walk (plus a few dozen stairs, and a short hill to the house itself). There are lots of snack stalls around El Pipila and some small markets for necessities even closer. Monica and Samuel are wonderful, on-site hosts and helped us out with recommendations, water, and a taxi to the airport. Beds are comfortable, kitchen has everything you need, indoor temperatures were comfortable during a hot June. We loved our time here and would recommend it unequivocally unless you absolutely can't manage stairs, since there's some stairs up to and within the house. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

The host takes the initiative to explain what you need. I recommend to future guests that if they bring a car, they leave it in a parking lot or garage for the entire duration of their stay, although parking is not very cheap. If you leave your car in the nearby parking lot (Las Huertas), don't pay much attention to Google Maps when you ask it to take you to the apartment because it will send you on longer and unnecessary roads. Instead, take the road to the tunnel and you'll see that the apartment is very, very close. This is not the host's problem, but the structure of the streets themselves. Finally, I must mention that without much hesitation and if it were not by car, I would stay at this place again.

Excellent option to rest and disconnect. The location is good, the apartment is impeccable, the service is incredible.

The place exceeded our expectations, quite wide, lit, tidy and safe. Both Indira and Raúl were always attentive, being extremely friendly.

Very safe and comfortable place, definitely recommended for visiting the area as a family
