Such a great place! Loved the privacy and the back porch area was so relaxing. Some jungle noises so something to be mindful of.

Beautiful place! We could not have been happier with this cabin. Only thing I would say is make sure you turn right leaving here, because the road is difficult going the other way. It was very clean, safe, and a gorgeous location.

We loved our stay at Magdalena’s house. It was like a private tropical paradise and Magdalena is the perfect host. Max planned our excursions for us and was SO helpful. The house was lovely but the backyard was amazing. The house features a wrap around porch with a comfy couch and chairs and large outdoor dining table. There is a separate large outdoor kitchen area with grills, additional seating and a hot tub. The infinity pool is steps away. The view from all vantage points is breathtaking and the grounds are landscaped beautifully. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms clean with rain showers and plenty of hot water. The AC worked perfectly and kept us cool. Esmeralda came daily and even did our dishes and laundry. The house is a 40 minute drive to the Arenal area. The main roads into La Fortuna were well maintained. The drive was long but easy. Shopping was a bit of a challenge but there are local “supermarkets” and a Maxi Pali in La Fortuna. Enjoy!

Ok, the place and the host are perfect. The problem is that it says San Ramón and maybe it happens to them as we imagine it as close to San Ramón center, but no! Literally, it is Peñas Blancas, it is about 20 or 25 minutes from Fortuna, so if you think of something closer, it is complicated because it takes more than 3 hours from San José. So, for them to take it into account, but it's totally worth it! The cabin, the river, everything was great, to be honest

My husband and I stayed here for almost a week, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Costa Rica. The property is nestled in a secluded, private area that feels like your own little hideaway in nature. It’s perfect for a romantic escape. It gave off such a peaceful, treehouse-like vibe, and everything was beautifully clean and well maintained. One of our favorite features was the balcony with the jacuzzi, perfect for relaxing in the evenings while taking in the views. The host was incredibly friendly, responsive, and offered great local recommendations, including a few nearby restaurants we really enjoyed. While it’s about a 30-minute drive from downtown La Fortuna, we honestly didn’t mind it at all. The tranquility and beauty of the property more than made up for the distance, and we’d absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had a great stay at this beautiful property near the volcano in Costa Rica! The location is absolutely stunning—lush greenery all around and breathtaking views of the volcano made for an unforgettable experience. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We did have a bit of trouble getting into the property when we first arrived, but Justino was resolved the issue, which we really appreciated. His help made a big difference and got our trip off to a good start. Overall, we’d definitely recommend this place to others looking for a peaceful and scenic stay in Costa Rica. Just make sure to confirm the location especially if you’re arriving when it’s dark to avoid any hiccups.

David was amazing. And his space was absolutely beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice. It really is a little oasis. The outside terrace was maybe my favorite part. And the garden/small trail is beautiful. It's literally a 3 minute walk from El Salto, which is a blast. And it's a quick 15 minute walk to the center of La Fortuna, making shopping and eating out really convenient without having to worry about transportation. David also helped us setup our transportation from the airport and to our 2nd Air BnB. Next time I'm in Fortuna, I already know where I'm staying. Thanks again for having us. Pura Vida.

This place is awesome. Secluded yet right by everything. The tree frogs come out at night and sing you to sleep and the tropical birds awake you in the morning. There is a bit of a construction site near by, so a bit of noise if you like to sleep in, but nothing too major. You can walk anywhere in town that is necessary, but we had a car and found parking easy and convenient. Host was responsive the whole time and extremely helpful. The hot tub made this place feel truly amazing. 10/10 recommend

We had a lovely stay! The wrap-around porch and side patio were fantastic places to hang after a fun day exploring the area. The grounds include well maintained access to the Rio Celeste with gorgeous landscaping and we were pleasantly surprised at breakfast delivery each morning!

Excellent place to go to relax and get away from the city. Very quiet and private. Lots of greenery and animal sound. 100% recommended.

Beautiful place overlooking the lake. Great sunrises and sunsets from the deck. Includes delicious breakfast across the street which was super convenient. Perfect if you’re looking for a quiet relaxing place as a base to explore area. Beds were super comfortable. Host was very responsive and addressed any issues right away. We had a Toyota Corolla and easily made it up road to house when it was dry. When wet it could be a challenge in a little car but there’s a slightly lower parking lot that’s maybe 25metres from unit that you’d still be able to park in and easily walk to unit. Would definitely stay again!

Cabana is in a great location with amazing view to mountain and tenorio volcano It’s private with all your needs Where is located is only minutes for rio celeste and it’s also closed to La fortuna San Carlos It’s a places where you can reset your self with nature The local people are very friendly, nice and you they make you feel like family I stayed with my 10 years old daughter And she was amazed by everything Definitely next time we are going to by at the north of Costa Rica It’s a place we want to stay again. Fred’s place is amazing to be surrounded by nature. It’s cozy and you have everything you need. Fred was always responsive with any doubt or concern we had; the place is extremely close to Volcán Tenorio Park and an entrance to Rio Celeste; also people around are charming and very friendly. Take into account that there is no access by public transportation and if you arrive at night it will be extremely dark. Fred gave us a hand to find a taxi which was a real lifesaver. I highly recommend his place, but please be aware that there will definitely be some bugs since it’s really in the middle of nature. There were a couple of cute frogs that came visiting us at night. Finally: do yourself a favor and visit Vista Tenorio restaurant steps away from the house. It must be some of the best food I have ever had.

The area is super nice and quiet, it really is an area to relax. The stay as such is very well cared for and is perfect for vacationing with the family, pets included.

Excellent place very cozy, it is super quiet and safe, it was ideal to share with my family, everything very clean and tidy, well equipped with everything necessary for the trip, as seen in the photos. It has a beautiful view of the sunrise on the balcony and the sunset in the front part, in addition to good contact with nature, you can hear a great variety of birds. We were able to visit very nice places, such as Río Celeste, a tourist center of heavenly pozas and the labyrinth of Katira, all that was close to the cottage. The entrance to the place is accessible, easy and surrounded by lots of nature, with beautiful landscapes to observe. I missed time to get to know more places nearby, so I would definitely book this beautiful place again.

You have to visit Don David's cabins, the place is beautiful, very quiet and safe, it also has a restaurant and the food is delicious. In addition, they offer horseback tours to the river, where you can bathe in the Celeste River. The cabin is very nice, you sleep very comfortably, they have hot water and it is very clean. I really can't recommend this place enough, I'm definitely going back 👌🏼
