My wife and i spent one night of our honeymoon at Ronan's b&b and we had a great evening. The jacuzzi tub and movie screen was very relaxing after a long day. The birds and hummingbirds were beautiful to watch and listen too. I highly recommend this host as everything was clean and set up nice. Local restaurants also deliver which was a bonus. WIll definitely return in the future.

This was a once in a lifetime stay! I cannot stress how important it is that you stay here when you come through to Costa Rica. The sunset was a one in 1 billion experience. Jorge was so nice and I felt like I was part of his family.

My husband and I stayed here for almost a week, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Costa Rica. The property is nestled in a secluded, private area that feels like your own little hideaway in nature. It’s perfect for a romantic escape. It gave off such a peaceful, treehouse-like vibe, and everything was beautifully clean and well maintained. One of our favorite features was the balcony with the jacuzzi, perfect for relaxing in the evenings while taking in the views. The host was incredibly friendly, responsive, and offered great local recommendations, including a few nearby restaurants we really enjoyed. While it’s about a 30-minute drive from downtown La Fortuna, we honestly didn’t mind it at all. The tranquility and beauty of the property more than made up for the distance, and we’d absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat.

David was amazing. And his space was absolutely beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice. It really is a little oasis. The outside terrace was maybe my favorite part. And the garden/small trail is beautiful. It's literally a 3 minute walk from El Salto, which is a blast. And it's a quick 15 minute walk to the center of La Fortuna, making shopping and eating out really convenient without having to worry about transportation. David also helped us setup our transportation from the airport and to our 2nd Air BnB. Next time I'm in Fortuna, I already know where I'm staying. Thanks again for having us. Pura Vida.

I loved all the amenities, my girlfriend loved spotting local birds. The place was beatiful and peaceful.

This place is a paradise! It was the perfect home base to explore the La Fortuna area. The beautiful gardens are full of wildlife to enjoy, and the hot tub was a perfect place to relax at the end of the day. Jonathan was quick to respond and the place was spotless when we arrived. We can't wait to return!

Host Mauricio took very good care of us throughout the process. The accommodation is clean as described and everything you need is there. The view is indescribably beautiful and the fresh air is good. If you can make it in time, don't miss the sunrise.

The views along are worth it, and super friendly horses on the property is something our kids absolutely loved!

Wonderful Airbnb! Looked exactly like pictures and it was so pretty and peaceful. Was easy to find and felt safe. The only issue was the amount of little bugs everywhere. Everything else was clean. Would be helpful to have more than two towels for guests.

Irene’s place was one of a kind. It was so peaceful and private, with the river running right by it felt like our own little oasis! Plenty of room for a family of 5 and everyone had their own area. Irene communicated very well and always answered my questions promptly and was very forgiving with a little accident we had. Thank you Irene for being so understandable, first time to Costa Rica and got our trip started off on the right foot by staying here. Did many activities near La Fortuna and found it so nice to come back to this peaceful location! Thank you again - Pura Vida!

We loved it, the fireplace and the tub are top in the middle of a beautiful forest, everything was clean, we communicated with Roberto several times and always responded in time and solved us quickly, so we asked you to light the fire the second night and his team arrived right away. The only recommendation is that they take car ready for the slopes, we will be back soon!!

We had to take care of some business and shopping in San Isidro and this little river cabin was a fun way to make it easy. Close to town but still with a feeling of being in the country. The opportunity to sit by the river is lovely.

What an incredible getaway at Las Cumbres! It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The place is absolutely stunning, and the cabin exceeded all our expectations! There’s so much to explore nearby, making it an adventure-filled retreat. Our stay was simply delightful, and the host delivered outstanding service that truly made our experience unforgettable. Our stay in the bamboo and glass house, Casa Rumi, was delightful. You can tell the hosts have put in a lot of effort to help their guests feel at peace and among nature. We saw toucans, macaws, morphos, and grasshoppers. Two cats greeted us each morning and sometimes visited at night. We experienced the sound healing ceremony, which was a relaxing way to end our stay in Costa Rica. You will need a 4x4 vehicle to make the drive up the hill, but it is more than doable and you will get used to it. Playa Hermosa is as the name suggests and Jaco is right around the corner, with Manuel Antonio National Park 1.5 hours further south. Highly recommend!

Beautiful place! We could not have been happier with this cabin. Only thing I would say is make sure you turn right leaving here, because the road is difficult going the other way. It was very clean, safe, and a gorgeous location.

We loved our stay at Casa Colibri. For a rental in the "city" of Grecia it still felt very secluded and quiet. Beautiful grounds to explore and a nice trail down to a creek below. The accommodations were very cozy and it felt like we were staying in a well-loved home. Although it was just my wife and myself, it looked to be very kid friendly with board games, a separate room with a cute loft and extra beds, and a jungle-gym/swing setup in the front yard. Very well equipped kitchen, had everything we needed for cooking elaborate meals. Amazing views from the master bedroom out into the trees where we watched the mist roll in during the evenings and the lightning bugs frolic to and fro as the sun set. But one of the most special things about this rental was Sehidy. Her communication was amazing and she was very helpful in recommending things to do in the area. She is a lovely person with a huge heart and a big smile. We hope to see her in the future and stay at Casa Colibri again soon!

WOW! We loved our stay!! The rolling hills of hydrangeas were absolutely gorgeous, and we enjoyed some lightning bugs and beautiful views of the city in the distance. The cabin was spotless and comfortable. We felt super safe and loved the little wood stove. The area is so fun too! Adrian had some great local recommendations for us. Stayed at Maru’s place for five days and it was absolutely beautiful! The view is unmatched and the house is very clean. We had a little trouble finding the place but Maru was very responsive and helped us upon arrival. Peaceful, quiet, and many beautiful birds in the big tree to the right (even saw a few toucans!). The pool and grill was also a bonus. Will definitely return. Thanks Maru!! :-)

Stunning place where your only regret is that you didn’t book it for longer! Fernando was incredibly responsive with questions and requests and met us at the top of the road to greet us and show us in. The hot tub was a real treat after a 7 hour hike and we even had 2 frog visitors while we soaked our muscles - just be sure to ask Fernando to turn on the tub about 45 minutes before you arrive home so the water is comfortably toasty. Highly recommend ordering the breakfast, with coffee, local tropical fruit juice, and the fruit bowl. It’s delivered to your door with a smile at the time of your choosing and you can enjoy it on the porch while sighting many birds and butterflies. The metal roof was lovely during the rain and quick 10 minute drive into town was perfect for a coffee run, souvenir shopping, and nice dinner. I can’t recommend this place enough! You will be satisfied from check-in to check-out.

We had such a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin! The view was absolutely breathtaking — right in front of La Lucha, which made for a peaceful and scenic backdrop. The cabin was warm, comfortable, and had everything we needed, especially in the kitchen, which was fully stocked for cooking our own meals. Carolina was an excellent host — so kind, welcoming, and very accommodating. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature!
