Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Guimaras Island

The property has a peaceful charm with a relaxing atmosphere, a private pool, karaoke, and beautiful surroundings—ideal if you’re looking to completely unplug and stay put. However, our experience was mixed due to several factors that future guests should be aware of. The biggest challenge was the location. The house is remote and not listed in the city’s tourism directory, making it hard for local transport providers to locate. Accessibility is heavily impacted by the tides—depending on the time of day, getting in and out requires a flat boat (at an extra fee), which felt like a charge that should have been included in the price. While island hopping was available, it came at an additional cost, and leaving the property for any activities required extra planning and expense. If you’re not planning to explore and are content staying at the property, this might not be an issue—but it’s something to keep in mind.

Paul is very resposnsive to all our questions and even have a lot of suggestions. if you are looking for a private place to get along with the nature and wake up with wonderful mornings of sea view, this is a place to go. It was one of the best Arbnb homes that I stayed. The owners did a really great job about maintaining there house clean and tidy. Huge living space and dining area. All the rooms have AC. If I go back to iloilo again, i would definitely book again in there house. PS thank you for the mineral water!

Highly Recommended! Very accessible to Dumanggas Port and Public Market hihihi. Malinis din ang place and has complete set of appliances and other stuff you need to have a comfortable stay. No wonder Lara Mae and her family belonged to the category of superhosts. They took great care of us and our concerns. I initially booked another airbnb, but due to poor communications, I cancelled it and found Lara’s place. She was responsive from start to finish. Her place was also homey and very accessible to Megaworld and Festive Walk. It has everything you need - from water to toiletries and even towels! We will definitely return and book her place again. The experience was beautiful. ❤️

Stayed here from June 11-15, 2025 HONEST REVIEW: (hindi sponsored) Ang dali kausap ng host especially unusual time ang check in and out namin. James is very accommodating and even help us in our luggage when we checked in at 1am (it's raining and he carried our luggage all the way to our room). Ang ganda ng design and ng mismong room. Very safe ang rooms dahil sa lock na may pin code. Centralized ang air-condition and ang lamig. Pag nakulangan ka sa lamig, may malaking ceiling fan pa (kasing laki ng elesi ng helicopter, legit to). Strong internet, hot/cold shower and free laundry (sa baba). Complete accessories na from bathroom, kitchen (may built in mineral water faucet) to bed room (big mattress with 4 pillows). Very spacious and maliwanag. Overall, it exceeded our expectations. Thank you so much for letting us have a great stay! Will definitely comeback and we RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

Second time staying at this beautiful house. It makes a great three day weekend break from Manila. Beach is gorgeous and house has everything you need. We’ll be back!

I had a wonderful experience staying at this Airbnb. The room was very clean and well-maintained, which made me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. Martin’s place was clean, comfortable, and in a fantastic locatio. It right beside the River Esplanade and close to Molo Plaza, with Festive Walk and SM Iloilo also within easy reach. The unit had a spacious layout, a nice vibe, and a lovely view of the river that we really enjoyed. We had a minor issue with the internet, but Martin responded quickly and got it resolved without hassle. He also has a great list of nearby food spots and attractions if you’re looking for local recommendations. Overall, a great stay and would definitely book again!

Our 2-night stay here was great. The host was very responsive. The place was clean and comfortable. We especially loved the well-equipped kitchen and the amenities like the fast Wi-Fi and smart TV truly made our stay feel like a home away from home.
