Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Gulf County

Jamie’s house was perfect for our vacation. We loved being able to walk to the beach and having a raw oyster bar right down the street. We appreciated that Jamie’s house was dog friendly and had a fenced in backyard. We enjoyed a nice relaxing time and getting away from northern snow country for awhile.

This house was definitely one of the better Airbnb’s we’ve stayed in. We appreciated the detailed descriptions of the layout, we knew exactly what to expect. This home also includes personal tower fans for each room which was a HUGE plus! There was more than enough of expendable items such as: trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent etc. Also, they provide top of the line beach equipment like balloon tire beach wagons and nice chairs. Water pressure and drainage in the showers was really good, especially for a Florida rental! It doesn’t really get much better than this for an Airbnb. 10/10 recommend.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The house is very close to the pool and we had the best time on the golf cart and loved how they have a paved pathway for bikes, running and golf carts along the beach. The house was very clean and equipped with everything you could think of! We were so happy that it was a dog friendly beach and house. The best restaurant we ate at was the White Marlin and going horseback riding on the beach was so much fun! Port St. Joe is absolutely gorgeous and I recommend to anyone who’s never been. Thank you Emily for being such a wonderful host! She even did a grocery order pick up for us and had it at the house when we checked in. I give this stay 10 stars if I could!

If you and your family are looking for an extraordinary beach trip on a beautiful beach without the crowds, this is the place for you. The home is immaculate, and it is nestled in a fun neighborhood with a few restaraunt, ice cream shops, and some shopping. From the house, the beach is only a 5 minute walk at most. Our group ranged from 12-77, and no one had issues navigating the walk. The owners also provided bikes. The kids loved that addition. The beach was very pretty and easy to navigate. While in the water we saw wonderful sea creatures. We saw rays, sand dollars, Star fish, manatees and dolphins. It has been our favorite beach and home to visit.

My family are returned guest. This home feels like our home away from home! We love the area because it is quiet, not overly crowded, and not commercialized! Beautiful beach that allows you to have your pets vacation with you! You're allowed to have golf carts on the beach which is a great feature. Saved us numerous trips back and forth to set up for our beach day.

Really nice place. Very responsive. The pool and bay are walkable. I did it a few times. I love to walk. It’s a 7 minute walk. My grandson rode one of the bikes. Very family friendly. Was my first time to Florida and it was very pleasant experience. Highly recommend

My husband and I had a great time celebrating our 65th birthdays at Cape San Blas. Our stay was very comfortable with everything that we needed. We look forward to returning next year!

We had a wonderful stay at SSJ! Every question or concern we had was promptly taken care of by our host. For example, we noticed an issue with the pool on our first day, and within two hours the host sent the pool company out to take care of it. The house had features that weren’t even listed on AirBnB that added to the comfort of our stay. As a family of 12, there was plenty of room for everyone with room to spare. We hope to stay here again! If you’re looking for a quiet beach with a house that has a variety to offer for those rainy days, this is the place for you!

Kate’s house is beautifully decorated, in a great location, and has everything you need for a perfect beach vacation! We really enjoyed having the golf cart, all the beach gear, the Blackstone grill, and the ping pong table. The private beach access was easy to get to and felt quiet and peaceful — perfect for relaxing. Coffee, ice cream, and pizza were just a short golf cart ride away, which made quick trips really easy. The house fit six adults comfortably, and we cooked dinner in the fully stocked kitchen almost every night. It was a great spot to unwind and enjoy the beach. Kate was a great host and super responsive. We’d definitely recommend her place and plan to stay again!

We enjoyed our stay in this home! The home itself was beautiful and spacious. It perfectly accommodated our 3 adult families with 2 small children. Kitchen was functional and had everything we needed for cooking meals. I appreciated that the bedrooms all had fans since there were no ceiling fans. One small thing we noticed is bedrooms had no storage for clothing (no dressers and no hangers in the closets for unpacking). The community was also very nice and we enjoyed having 2 different pool options to rotate between . The beaches had beautiful white sand but the water is not beautiful like it is up the coast near PCB (lots of seaweed and murky brownish water likely due to being on the bay). The town was small with nothing in the way of boutiques, souvineer shops, or family attractions unless you want to drive. Regardless we had a very relaxing stay spending most our time at the beach or pool and enjoyed the beautiful home!

We felt right at home staying at Palmer’s Airbnb. We enjoyed having the option to rent the golf cart to ride around town or ride us closer to the beach. The master bed was so comfortable. This Airbnb had everything you need for a beach day, including a wagon, chairs, umbrellas, and boogie boards. The neighborhood is so quiet and safe. We can’t wait to come back!

This was my first time visiting Mexico Beach and I feel I picked the best spot! The home was beautiful and in a perfect location. Simple and quick little walk across street to access the beach! The cottage was super clean, decorated nicely and plenty of room. Donnie was quick to respond when I had a questions and the entire process and stay was wonderful! Thank you so much for being dog friendly! I will definitely book again!

I love staying at Adam’s home. It felt like it was brand new. It was fully equipped with every thing you would need for your stay. It also was very quiet and private even though it was part of a condo community. Adam even arranged beautiful weather for us! I would definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends!

Wish I could give more than 5 stars! Angela’s guest suite was absolutely perfect for me and my dog for the week. Clean, comfy, quiet, everything was just perfect. The Windmark Beach community is charming and I definitely felt safe walking around after dark. Lots and lots of families with children. Do yourself a favor and be sure to head down to their beach to check out a sunset or 2- absolutely gorgeous. I will definitely go back, hopefully sooner rather than later!

From the clean home, to the amazing mattress, for a restful night sleep, the rain shower heads to wash the day away, and the thoughtful wine and chocolates, you will not be disappointed. You can always tell when someone cares about their home, and ensuring guests are welcome and cozy. I am very thankful for the opportunity to explore Cafe San Blas, and all the lovely recommendations that Jill and Paul offered. I would love to come back as this is an amazing experience. Very comfortable home in a great location on the north Cape. Wonderful screened in porch for hanging out before and after the beach. Easy home access, easy beach access, well appointed, and comfortable for people and pets. 30+ years visiting the Cape. This home has no negatives-Enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

We love this place! Clean, great/responsive hosts, Quiet neighborhood and a great location just minutes to Mexico Beach and Downtown Port St. Joe.

We had a great time at the Sand Spur! Katy was so nice and very responsive to answer any question that I had! The house is in the perfect spot to check out the downtown area of Port St. Joe. We especially loved all of the shops on Reid Avenue (a short walk down the street.) We found ourselves getting delicious iced coffee at Sweet Bunz every day of our stay but were given some other recommendations for coffee very close by. The public beaches along the bay are just a short drive away! Our dogs especially loved this house. The fenced in yard was perfect to let them roam around and explore! We would love to visit again!

We loved our stay! The home was beautiful located in the midst of pristine surroundings. The stars and moon at night were indescribably beautiful- as well as the sunsets. Staying at this property you can uniquely witness the sunrise over the Bay and sunset over the Gulf! Crazy beautiful and private. The backyard is delightful as well as the porch. We loved our visit at John’s beautiful home!

This place was fantastic for the short stay we had planned. Andy was extremely responsive and very accommodating. The home was very clean and the area was very quiet and in a convenient location on the cape. We appreciated the extra amenities on the property such as the golf cart and the kayaks. We loved the fenced in yard. We would recommend this home to anyone traveling to the cape that enjoys easy access to the beach and the bay.
