'Lithir', Carloway Isle of Lewis.

JudeRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Lithir was a fabulous base to explore Lewis and Harris. We felt like we were coming home after a day out. Lithir was very comfortable with an extremely well equipped kitchen. The local Community Coop had a friendly atmosphere and was well stocked. Communication with Kenny was helpful and easy, Mairi was so very helpful and kind. Thank you for all the special treats and making a week here so very memorable.

The Peat Stack

OliviaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a fantastic stay at The Peat Stack! Everything was perfect, clean and it had everything we needed for the few days we stayed, even some goodies left by Isobel. We felt at home right away! The hot tub, the amazing view and the sheep neighbours were a big bonus. Stornoway and a big supermarket can be reached in less than 15 min and it is a great location to explore the island.

What a beautiful cottage, with fantastic views! We spent 3 nights at the cottage, when visiting the islands, providing an ideal location for exploring. For two couples and two dogs, we really enjoyed our stay, finding everything we needed in the cottage. Well maintained, with a really nice presentation and welcome treats

Hebridean Bothy Pods - Bothy Buidhe

JohnRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
This was a delightful place to stay. A romantic and cosy cabin, perfect for two. It was superbly clean and the facilities second to none. Everything needed plus more was there, even some pasta and beans for anyone turning up in need of one meal. The view over the loch and mountains was magnificent. I even saw a red deer jump the fence near the delightful rear garden which was a real sun trap. We loved the seating space by the door which was cosy and in the sun. It was the perfect base to travel around the island and a delight to return to in the evenings. Thanks Innes for making it such a lovely place. Please note that if you use just the post code (as we did) to find the place that is not helpful. Use the instructions provided by Innes

Kelp Cottage

A beautiful house in a stunning area. The house had everything we needed and it was all of great quality. Sandra and Kevin were so friendly and helpful, making us feel really welcome. The beach is just a short walk away, with many more gorgeous beaches in the area. We saw Golden Eagles, White-tailed Eagles, Otters and heard and saw Corncrakes. We will be back. 😀

10A Dalmore, Isle Of Lewis

RobbieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The location of the property is amazing, only a short walk from Dalmore beach which on a calm day is perfect for kayaking or paddle boarding or surfing on not so calm. The property is immaculately clean inside and out and there are plenty of home comforts to keep you occupied. There is a smart tv so you can use Netflix etc but in fairness we spent a lot of our time adventuring around Lewis and Harris and had no time for tv. Our host was very friendly and helpful even to the point that end of our stay knowing we were booked on the ferry they offered us a later check out than advertised so we did not have to rush away. All in all we had a wonderful stay and already are planning our next visit to the island In short… Awesome property Awesome location Awesome host

Superb accommodation, exceptionally clean and very highly maintained. Fantastic location with stunning views over Loch Roag towards Uig. Close to the major historical sites and only 30mins from Stornoway. Lovely local craft shops nearby, Hebridean Soap and Dancing Flowers to name a few. I would highly recommend this special property as a great base to explore the beautiful Island of Lewis. Vince Jones Arbroath
