Nice starting point for trips in Lofoten.

With a base in Austnesfjorden you have access to all the great things Lofoten has to offer of spectacular nature experiences and opportunities for activities, summer and winter. The location also gives you proximity to Vesterålen, so the place is a great starting point to discover both Lofoten and Vesterålen, within 1-2 hours by car.

The perfect place for a vacation!🌄 The old norwegian house is close to the sea and has easy access to hiking and skiing on the mountains in immediate vicinity. 🌅❄️🌲🌤️🍁 This is the place where the sun never sets! In the winter you can experience a starry sky with northern lights right outside the house. In the summer/spring you can enjoy the sun all day long out on the terrace, and experience a beautiful midnight sun. 30 minutes away by car / ferry you will find several grocery stores.

This is a peacefull stay close to Lofoten nature in scenic surroundings. There are berries to be found in the area(August), small boat(July). A fox and sometimes an eagle may visit in the evenings, if lucky. By car the cabin is located: 42 min from Svolvær. 40 min from Henningsvær. 46 min from Lofotr Viking museum. 2 hours from Å. The cabin has a small gas driven fridge and oven, while a generator is run to supply electricity and water for showers. I will help with any technical issues.
