Eco self contained cottage in a garden.

This mini 1 bedroom house was our trial run in building our main home using passive house principles. We are approx 1 km from the centre of Westbury in a rural location. (You may be lucky enough to sight some of our local wildlife during your stay! ) The cottage is suitable for a couple, however the extra single bed does enable some flexibility for guests.(i.e. if you wish to use both beds, please book for 3 people.) We provide a library of information about sustainability for guest perusal.

Paradise Road Farm

Relax and enjoy stunning views in one of two architecturally designed cabins, nestled in the rolling hills, just outside the town of Sheffield and on the main road to Cradle Mountain. You will be staying on our working farm that is home to platypus in the dams, a small herd of Speckle Park beef cattle and some fat and friendly goats. The farm is proudly centered eco-friendly, regenerative principles, promoting a healthy environment for birds, insects and other life to flourish.

Carriage House Studio - Your Central Pad

Separate, private studio with own direct access from road and key locker check in. Originally built in 1890 as a carriage house it has been converted into two storey studio accommodation. Enjoy easterly sun and views across the Glebe farmland to Mt Barrow and Mt Arthur. Prime location-CBD, restaurants bars, theatre, UTAS Stadium etc. no more than a few minutes walk. Fully self contained, including washing machine, you will have your own space and central pad to enjoy Launceston.

The River Studio

Overlooking the beautiful kanamaluka/Tamar River, our recently built, open plan studio is a comfortable, light-filled and stylish retreat. Our property is off grid; powered by the sun and surrounded by one of the last tracts of natural bushland close to Launceston. We are located just 10 minutes from the city, where the iconic Tamar Valley Wine Route begins and the unique Tamar Island Wetlands provide one of the most popular visitor attractions in Northern Tasmania.

Wylah Cottage, Deloraine, Secluded Bush Retreat

Nestling in a forest of Peppermint Gums is Wylah Cottage, so named after the Aboriginal word for the Yellow Tailed, Black Cockatoo, which is regularly seen and heard around the property. On 55 acres of bushland, teeming with wildlife, yet only 7kms from Deloraine – on the way to Cradle Mountain, and 45 minutes to either the Devonport Ferry, or Launceston Airport.
