Monthly Rentals in Hakalau

This was probably our favorite Airbnb ever! We especially enjoyed the little details like a bottle of wine, lychee, cold water, delicious juice, guest book, and laundry detergent. They thought of everything to make us feel welcome! Thank you for a wonderful stay. Lychee is our new favorite fruit <3

Lovely place! It’s deep in the woods so it’s perfect for us as it’s quiet and away from noise and the crowds. The last ~0.2 mile was a bit rough, but we managed it with a mustang lol. What I enjoyed the most was sitting outside when it was raining. Enjoying the orchestra from nature.

We can't rave enough about the Pineapple Cottage. It was beautiful, peaceful, and a great way to unwind after our super busy days exploring the East side of the island and VNP. My husband would have ate himself sick on Lychees if I let him. We made friends with geckos, the resident dogs, Lucy and Molly and of course the friendly neigbourhood duck, Frankie. Coffee in the mornings on the lanai was a dream and we slept soundly listening to the frogs every night. Thank you to Madeleine and her family - they were great hosts and brought us farm fresh eggs one day which were delicious. We want to come back and hope we are able to in the future!

The best Air BnB we have ever stayed at. Chad was the best host. If and when we come back we will be staying at their place. The tour around the property is necessary. Chad and his wife Jennifer put their heart and soul into the property and just want to make sure everyone uses it properly. It is only a short 20 minute drive to Hilo with plenty of waterfalls and activities to do nearby the property. We tried to spend more time at their property than leaving. Waking up to horses and ocean front views you cannot put a price on that. STAY HERE!
