Monthly Rentals in Halam

It was a very cool and unique stay with kids. Location is good and surrounding is beautiful. The barn itself is welcoming and warm. The marshmallow and cookie jar was a really nice touch. Aw and the pony ride! It was so cute and our kids had lots of fun on it. And they absolutely love Basil. Me and my husband did find Basil not really interactive with people probably because he’s tired of someone living next door to him all the time. I don’t blame him and it didn’t bother the kids at all. They were still so happy to see him everyday. It will be so much better if there’s an oven and a small freezer. We noticed in the description about the stove not working very well. So we brought some Pizza on the way and realized there was no oven and somehow the microwave’s not working very well with pizza as well… and a little reminder to those who don’t like spiders and little crawling creepies, there are expected. Overall nice place! Xx

Contemporary conversion, comfortably furnished and spotlessly clean The Old Threshing Barn worked well for a 2 night stay to meet up with family from Mansfield. We appreciated the large comfy bed and welcome pack enjoying Joe Taylor’s for lunch and an excellent evening meal at The Lion in Farnfield with lovely views of a hunting barn owl at the cottage on our return!

We have stayed here several times and it is probably the best airbandb we have visited. Denise spares nothing in what she provides, bread, milk, eggs, juice. The whole property is beautifully planned and so comfortable to stay in. The garden is a delight, pond, carp and the lovely dogs. The surrounding area has many places of interest, Southwell only one. There are good pubs and tea shops in easy reach. We really hope to return.

I don't usually do reviews because I don't have the time, but Bekky was so responsive, so friendly and the place was just what we wanted at short notice that I've felt I had to make it the exception. My only comment, my one and only comment was that the car parking looks in the pictures like you can fit a lot more than it actually can. We just managed to fit three large cars. But this is not a criticism, just an observation if you're looking to book and you have three or more cars (we had four) it's a tight squeeze for 3. Everything else perfect... if we were doing an event in Nottingham again next year, I would seriously consider booking this place again. Thanks Becky.
