Chris and Leslie are excellent hosts! The rental was exactly what we needed for my husband and two teenagers who were in the water every day we stayed! The rental is quiet and perfectly furnished for four people to eat, relax, and sleep comfortably. The restaurants and activities Leslie suggested were spot on! My family and I had such a good time we didn’t want to leave. I hope we are lucky enough to stay with them again.

If I could give 10 stars I would!! What an extraordinary gem. Clean, quiet, well equipped and so nicely decorated. We are already looking forward to our next visit!!

The host was amazing. friendly helpful and supportive. The airbnb itself is absolutely stunning. Great view of the lake, local enough tot everything in Halifax, clean spotless and brand new. I have been at a few Airbnbs where they give you limited stock and you have to run out and grab more yourself, not here, we ran out of nothing and everything was perfect. My mother in law uses a walker and she could just zip around with all the space. HIGHLY Recommend, we had family swing by and they all wanted to know the host so they could share it with others.

This Airbnb is absolutely stunning, the pics do not do the views justice. We have watched people fishing, paddle boarding, and even playing with an RC boat in the lake, not to mention getting to watch a little family of Canadian Geese each day. The unit itself is pristine and you can absolutely tell they spared no expense. Everything is quality and makes you feel like your at home. The kitchen has everything you need to prep and make meals and the entire unit is brand new. We are in Halifax area for a medical reason and have to extend our stay (a few times) and the host, Governors Lake Suite's has been nothing but exceptional to deal with and so helpful. My mother in law uses a walker and she loves that she has space to move around and that everything is on one level for her as well. I cannot recommend enough to you to book a spot here for your next getaway enough. 20 min in low traffic to the hospitals, its perfect, not to mention to any shopping you might. 10 Stars!

Excellent location- easy quick walk to downtown Dartmouth and the ferry. Very comfortable bed!!

Wonderful find very close to downtown Chester. Karen and Neil have everything you need and more in the cottage. Lots of parking space, quiet neighbours. We are planning on returning!

Host is super responsive and helped us with fast and early check in. Huge help there! Location is as perfect as it can be. Quiet area and my kids enjoy the trampoline. Get some hot tea or coffee and sit on the large deck and watch your kids jumping on trampoline. This is the vacation we need. Close to Sobeys / gas station and easy to get on highway to all attractions. We would like to come back again next time we visit Halifax.

I had a wonderful 5-day stay at this cozy BnB! The space was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing visit. The hosts were incredibly warm, welcoming, and respectful of privacy — it truly felt like a home away from home. The location was convenient, right infront of Dalhousie University —with easy access to local spots, yet peaceful enough for a good night’s rest. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-hosted stay!

Alan and Brooke’s property did not disappoint!! It was just as the listing described 5 star. The beautiful decor and fantastic view made for a perfect get away. The information regarding local attractions, restaurants and shopping was very helpful. Alan was responsive and easy to communicate with. I would LOVE to stay there again and I would highly recommend any property they operate. Thank you Alan and Brooke.

Wonderful spot. Well appointed and a bonus my small little four legged friend could join us. The view and new oceanside deck were spectacular. My only wish was that we could have had great weather. Mother nature wasn't on our side. Thanks for sharing your home with us. Cheers! Nicole

This is a nice house, comfortable to stay a bit on trips! Everything is just as fine as in those photos. It’s pretty peaceful neighborhood and there is a lake within 5 minutes walk, you can enjoy the morning view at your ease! Overall highly recommended!

A beautiful location right on the cove! The house was the getaway of our dreams in a part of the world I've been longing to visit! We couldn't ask for better hosts. Sean and Monique were extremely welcoming, responsive, and proactive--even when our travel plans hit a glitch. Thank you for such a lovely stay. The memories will live on!
