If you want a peaceful away from everyone stay then this is for you . You are in the owners grounds but left alone unless you need them . It is rustic but that’s its charm but great bed , good linen and modern bathroom . Stairs are challenging but once you get used to them then it’s fine .

This is a really great place! Jane & Dominic are really kind and helpful especially with local area and outings. Everything was spotless, comfortable and restful. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

My mum and I had a wonderful well deserved break at Debbie’s gorgeous Studio. It was also our dog, Hook’s first time away and she absolutely loved it! We were greeted by Debbie when we finally arrived (with clear instructions provided on how to get to the cottage) and she was so lovely. She showed us into the Studio and realised that we wanted separate beds so bought extra bed linen for the bedroom downstairs. She’d also treated us to a lovely bottle of red and a Victoria sponge! The views are so picturesque and we felt so peaceful and calm. Their gardens are well kept and are beautiful. Debbie is an amazing artist and even hand painted the bedroom door! As previous reviews have revealed, the drive to the cottage is rather bumpy as it’s down a bridle way and the driveway is rather steep but it’s manageable! As Debbie knows, we will be back again - we felt we could have stayed a few more days if we could but we will definitely be back hopefully this year. Thank you Debbie!

Lovely well equipped little barn conversion in a very peaceful location, and ideally situated for exploring North Devon. Mary and John were very friendly and the enclosed field was ideal for exercising our dog. A very enjoyable stay.
