Escape the rat race and spend a night or 6 on our tranquil rural oasis. A hop skip and jump from the world renowned Hobbiton (13 mins) and Matamata (8 mins). Our farm stay offers 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom full kitchen, lounge/dining, outdoor fireplace/pizza oven. Plenty of room for the family!

Old Mountain Road Retreat Raglan

Situated in the secluded Waitetuna Valley is our modern but rustic, luxury accommodation. This unique rural getaway is less than 30 mins from Hamilton and 15 mins on to Raglan. There is one large bedroom upstairs with a King bed and a second queen bed downstairs. ( suitable for couples, small adult groups and children over 12 ) Soak up the peaceful ambience in our beautiful wood-fired hot tub or go for a short walk to our lovely creek where our pet eels are plentiful and enjoy being hand fed.

Nestled next to an orchard with animals aplenty and incredible views of the Waikato skyline in all directions, this retreat-like property is a real escape whether you’re enroute to Raglan or staying for awhile. Best suited for a couple but pull-out sofa and cot available too.

Nestled within the Queenwood gully this is a private downstairs unit situated below our busy family home. The spacious studio has a unique charm with its contemporary art deco interior design and bold furnishings. The large, north facing sunny bedroom with a sliding door over looks the swimming pool and out towards the expansive tropical gardens and native gully. *Note that the extra portable single bed is in the main living space and is subject to some noise from little feet above.
