We do not have cable TV, however we have a DVD player with a dresser full of DVD movies! Take a walk. Bring your mountain bikes and hit the state land trails. Sit on the 3 season porch and watch the birds, or read. Eat out on the back patio. We are 20 minutes from Pinehurst, 25 from Rockingham. 5 minutes from interstate 73. I had a wonderful stay at Gary & Shawna’s place! It was very neat, peaceful, and quiet — perfect for relaxing. It was easy to find, and the drive there was absolutely beautiful, surrounded by scenic farms and open countryside. The hosts were very welcoming and kind, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Cool, older house with everything we needed for a quick overnight stay while traveling through the area. It is evident that a lot of work has been done on the house and that it is still a work in progress. Kitchen is very nice. The clawfoot tub/shower combo was fine but a bit awkward to use the shower as there is nowhere to set soap/shampoo, etc.. All in all it was a fine stay. I enjoy unique properties and this one was pretty cool.

We loved our adventure in the Sandhills. We saw lots of different birds, a few bunnies, and even an otter down the road. Pickett was really helpful and made sure we found the place and got settled. Thank you for sharing your beautiful spot!
