The Top Paddock

Welcome to the top paddock! This is glamping with a side of real camping in the Tasmanian bush. Goats and sheep will stroll around and you have over 20 acres all to yourself to explore. We're located up a gravel road on the north west coast, you won't find any other tourists here. Soak in the wood fired tub, under the blackwood tree. Cosy up to the wood fire, roasting marshmellows in your star Gazer yurt. A comfy queen bed and a backyard of adventure, its a Tasmanian version of luxury camping.

Relax and enjoy stunning views in one of two architecturally designed cabins, nestled in the rolling hills, just outside the town of Sheffield and on the main road to Cradle Mountain. You will be staying on our working farm that is home to platypus in the dams, a small herd of Speckle Park beef cattle and some fat and friendly goats. The farm is proudly centered eco-friendly, regenerative principles, promoting a healthy environment for birds, insects and other life to flourish.

'Mistover' is a 32 hectare property with pasture, bushland, creeks, dams and plenty of space for your pets to run! It is home to Galloway cattle and long term resident Jonesy, the English Pointer, who loves visitors! The accommodation is a two storey, 2 bedroom, self-contained stone cottage with open fire place and private balcony. 'Mistover' is situated along the Murchison Highway, 20 kms from Burnie/Wynyard Airport and is on the doorstep of the Tarkine Wilderness!

Only 15 minutes from the Burnie airport and on the way to the west coast wilderness, this rustic country style facility is in the grounds of a grand old home. It is a real country experience hosted by a local farmer. Yolla has beautiful countryside, a general store and a proper country tavern for a meal. country retreat is fitted with carbon monoxide and smoke detectors.
