Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Hampshire County

My husband, two young children and I stayed for a weekend, and it was amazing! The house and area was beautiful. There was a fire pit within walking distance, and Glenn gave great details on the best place to go kayaking and tubing along the river. Glenn was an amazing host, and he gave great recommendations on what to do in that area. If you have smaller kids who just love to run around outside this is a great place!

We loved our stay in Romney! The house was just what we needed. Things we loved: Clearly labeled cabinets Plenty of outlets…even USB! Watching the mama Robin feeding her babies in the nest on the front porch Comfortable beds Two seating areas Amazing bed of mint at the side door Fun decorations…we especially loved the music room! It’s an older home with lots of character and cool architectural features that has everything you need for modern living. Michael graciously allowed us to extend our stay for a day so that the ones who came on motorcycles didn’t have to leave during storms. I highly recommend this home if you ever need a place to stay in Romney!

We had a great stay! House was clean and had everything stocked to feel like home. Back patio was beautiful and nice to sit out on. We were visiting friends local to the area and plan to rebook with Statton on our future trips visiting !

My wife and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary. When I suggested it my wife looked at me unsure of what I was suggesting. The state of WV is one of magic you have to see to enjoy. The house is gorgeous and the view is beyond breathtaking. We found peace and solace just sitting with each other. We heard and saw such an abundance of animals from frogs to cows to humming birds and hawks. The only things that could just be because of where the house is, is the water will shut off after limited use. The fire pits location makes using it and enjoying the view difficult. However that aside it was a magical experience and you will truly understand why WV is almost heaven.

This place is incredible. We needed a place to stay for a whole month while moving states. We were greeted so kindly by Lowell and Dottie, ushered into a beautiful home, and given bread and coffee cake! During our long stay, our hosts were incredibly generous towards us, giving us anything we needed and even clearing away the swingset for our son to play on! We loved our interactions with them, and our son numbers them among his friends:) the house itself is worth visiting at any time - full of sweet furniture and practical touches, surrounded by flowers and the sunrise over the hills. We are so grateful for our stay and our lovely hosts. Thank you!!

Our family enjoyed this place and had a really good time. It's secluded away from people which is what we love! We needed to get away and unwind, this was the perfect place!

We had a wonderful stay at Don’s place. We enjoyed relaxing on the porch and fires in the fire pit. It’s very close to the C&O Canal and the Paw Paw Tunnel. Would definitely recommend and hope to come back again.

This was a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Gorgeous view overlooking the river! The place was well decorated and we loved listening to the rain on the skylights in the living room. The neighbors were a little closer than expected, but wasn’t really an issue. Power went out one night (area outage), and Alison was responsive and proactive to provide a location of various lamps and lights. We were already using the grill on the incredibly back deck, so we weren’t really inconvenienced by it. I do appreciate the host keeping us updated on power outage.

This place was everything I hoped it would be and more. The high wood ceiling and huge windows made it feel open and peaceful, and the natural light during the day was incredible. It’s the kind of space that instantly makes you feel calm. The couch is insanely comfortable… I spent way more time on it than I planned, just relaxing and enjoying the quiet. Everything was super clean, and you can tell the host put real thought into making it feel like home. The whole experience was smooth and easy from start to finish. If you’re looking for a place to slow down, clear your head, or just enjoy a few peaceful days somewhere beautiful… this is it.! I’d absolutely stay here again.

The seclusion was absolutely peaceful and beautiful—just what we needed to relax and recharge. The fenced-in yard was perfect for my puppies; they were so happy running around safely and freely. It truly felt like a little slice of paradise for both me, my wife, and my pups. it was very stocked with literally everything. I will definitely be booking again!

This place is better than cabins at Auberge Resorts. We spent a weeeknd here and the place is absolutely amazing. There is no cheap tat here, everything is of the best quality. The cabin is spotlessly clean and super comfortable. Everything is in excellent working order, no nasty surprises. It is perfectly stocked, anyting you may need during a stay is there. Communication is excellent and there is nothing to worry about. Perfect place to relax and unwind. The onlt sad thing is that from now on all other AirBnB's will seem very imperfect as the bar is set so high now. Cannot wait to stay here again.

Jonathan's place is wonderful as always. Had an exciting weekend to disconnect and enjoy good company in beautiful scenery. Look forward to coming back!

Sean's place was beautiful and close to Berkley Springs but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. highly recommend this to anyone wanting a get away .
