Charming Coach House next to Richmond Park

My husband and I stayed for a few nights over a weekend. The coach house is absolutely lovely. It is very comfortable, private, quiet, peaceful and was a nice respite from having spent time in busy London. You have everything you need to relax, sleep well and cook in. The place is nicely designed, tastefully decorated and clean. Petra greeted us upon arrival, showed us around and left us lovely provisions (decadent cakes!) to get us started on a nice weekend. We went for long walks/runs in Richmond Park (a 5 min walk away), and enjoyed hanging out in the house on a rainy Saturday. A large Sainsbury's is a 15-min walk away, and the Noribiton station is a 20 min walk. The coach house is located in a peaceful neighborhood with little traffic. We walked or took public transport. All in all, a fantastic, quiet getaway. We would definitely stay again.

If you’re looking for a unique getaway with a welcoming host and a gorgeous setting, this is the place for you! From the moment we arrived, Linda, the host, greeted us with a smile and the wonderful surprise of a freshly baked loaf of bread, which was such a thoughtful touch and made us feel right at home. In fact, thoughtful is the watchword here, the houseboat was stocked with everything you could possibly need, the fridge was fully stocked with essentials like milk, butter, jams, infused water, and Linda even had a selection of ice creams for us. The property itself is in a peaceful location, but still close to so many places, for example Hampton Court Palace is within walking distance. It was spotless and wonderfully maintained, the bed was huge and the attention to detail exceptional, even leaving duck feed for us to feed the ducks and Swans that swam up to our door. We didn’t use the Sauna but I highly recommend the Swedish Hot Tub, it made what was already a relaxing experience

What a gorgeous and comfortable home in a charming neighborhood! The house felt like such a perfect oasis, exquisitely decorated and with all the comforts of home—including for families with a young child. The back garden was magical, the kitchen was lovely, everything smelled great, the bathroom was spa-like, the beds were so comfortable, the kids’ toys were an awesome bonus and provided hours of entertainment…absolutely no complaints and I would definitely stay here again! Teddington is such a sweet little neighborhood/village with a charming high street and easy access to beautiful Bushy Park.

Lovely area to stay in. Plenty of buses going to surrounding areas and a couple of local stores. Richmond is a short bus ride away with a lovely park and restaurants etc. Parking was no problem free outside the house. Matt was extremely friendly and helpful. The house was large with a lovely garden area. Very nice place to stay.
