Holiday rentals with lake access in Hampton

My family and I enjoyed this place very much and plan to come back for our anniversary . It was very peaceful although some of the neighbors were doing some type of drill work late at night and startled our sleeping 2 year old . Other than that I felt at home #countrygirl

This was a great long stay vacation for my first time. Everything look just like the pictures. The area was very quiet, peaceful and neighbors were friendly. The view of the ocean was amazing and the park nearby was great for the kids. Bethany was very nice and responsive to all my needs and questions. This was an amazing stay and I would definitely book with her again.

We so enjoyed our stay!! I frequent the Mathews area for a variety of reasons, but this was by far one of the most beautiful waterfront views I’ve seen at any place I’ve stayed. Buddy and Robin were extremely communicative and flexible— we were in town for a wedding with specific event timings and were able to check-in early to spruce up after travels. Which was SO helpful since some of our group had driven from Cleveland. We ended up spending quite a bit of time doing wedding activities out and about, but I crave coming back here and being able to relax at the beautiful pier and taking a kayak out. Would book again! The proximity to Bethel Beach should be a major selling point. It’s a wonderful walk with great birding opportunities!!

Responsive even before I booked. As pictured. Accommodated 5 of us very comfortably. Friends stayed one half block up I liked our place much better!

Wonderful stay. Bay Lake Escape is charming, comfortable, and impeccably clean. Betty was a friendly and proactive communicator, offering clear instructions for check in and check out, a digital guidebook, and even a video walk through of the house. The house is well-stocked from the bathrooms to the kitchen; we ate in most days and had all the utensils and appliances we needed for cooking and baking. There are so many thoughtful touches, both decorative and practical: fluffy towels, a jug of filtered water, assorted comfortable seating options (we loved the trestle table and the backyard seating!) dishes especially for the kids. We especially loved the porch and balcony, as we could still enjoy the outdoors on the day it rained. The house is located about two blocks from the beach, making for an easy walk even loaded down with beach supplies. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Thank you, Betty, for the amazing stay!

This home was the perfect fit for our large group of 14. We stayed over the Christmas holiday and the place was very accommodating! Larkin was very responsive and helped out immediately with any questions we had. The kitchen was fully stocked and all the beds were comfortable. There were plenty of towels and blankets, dishes, etc. for our entire group. The location is a small quaint town. The Blue Crab down the street had some delicious food but other than that there isn’t much around so you definitely need to hit up the store. The Food Lion is less than 10min away for groceries. Williamsburg is 30min away and Yorktown about 45min away- we visited both towns to explore. Overall a marvelous stay!

My family and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Jessica's place! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how beautiful and spacious the home and property were. Plenty of room for us all to celebrate my Mother’s 60th. We thoroughly enjoyed karaoke in the theater room, and soaking up some midday sun on the deck. There were so many fantastic amenities that we barely scratched the surface—definitely a reason to come back for a longer visit! Jessica was an amazing host, always quick to respond to our questions and incredibly helpful. If you're looking for a lovely and well-equipped place to stay, I highly recommend booking with Jessica. We can't wait to return!

Saint Salty was SO refreshing! We hosted our retreat here for a few good friends and it was just what we needed! Beautiful views, sounds of the water, a great walk to the lighthouse, watching windsurfing, paddle boarding and enjoying the perfect table on the deck for all meals! The kitchen was stocked with all we needed for our meals and the bedrooms were so cozy. The views from the living room are gorgeous. We loved our stay. It was so peaceful and our host was awesome with communication and flexible to support our needs. We will be back!

Everything was as described. We are fully satisfied and would love to come back in the future.

This place was beautiful and cute I feel like they should show the actual pictures instead of using Ai because it’s very beautiful inside and outside. Peaceful environment and friendly atmosphere. It’s also very quiet for the most part. I loved the gym that was there as well! My only thing is I wish the washing machine and dryer worked as we went to the beach and had to wash and dry some clothes other then that it’s absolutely gorgeous and perfect for family and friends.

I would definitely stay here again! My absolute favorite part was the deck outside. It had so much seating and a table with an umbrella. The home was lovely. The queen size bed was comfy. The space on the side of the bed with the wall is awkward because the intake vent is there, and that vent is also loud and annoying. Just wear earplugs! We added two of the wooden tray tables from the closet as night stands. The house is clean except the floor, which I'd imagine is hard to sweep or mop because the boards have shifted, making the floor uneven with cracks through out. So the floor felt and looked a bit dirty, but you're by the beach with sand, so eh not a problem.

Everything went well for my stay-cation. I am familiar with the area and decided to try one of the Airbnbs. The apartment was clean, quiet, and we'll appointed. My only issue was actually with the Airbnb app, it kept lagging for both of us when we messaged each other. All in all, a great atay.

My friends and I stayed for a few days the space was clean and comfortable we felt right at home sitting in the living room together on the big couch, we needed something small just to accommodate the few of us and this worked perfectly not far from stores and fast food which we liked overall great place! We would stay again .

Joyce has done a phenomenal job with this lake house. Everything has been thought through. The house actually looks even better than the pictures. You can tell a lot of thought went into the decor. And it is super clean. The kitchen is fully stacked with everything you would need ant home or away. Ample seasoned fire wood and starter sticks makes using their MASSIVE fire pit a breeze. The best part is she gives you access to both of their docks and you will not have to take your boat or kayak out of the water once. We kayak fished Johnson’s and Lacey’s with ease from her house. 100% coming back to stay again.

Perfect family vacation for our family of four and our geriatric black lab. The kids loved the pool, the canal (we brought a kayak and paddleboard, but you can easily rent them…never saw a boat navigating it so traffic was almost nonexistent, and it was a peaceful and beautiful paddle, and they went fishing off the little dock), and the very short walk to the beach! The pool had lots of shade and a great breeze for the dog, and he loved the spacious yard that was dog friendly. I loved the simplicity of the house itself — it had everything we needed but was cozy and we didn’t have to run up and down stairs all day…important because our dog is too old to handle that. The closest beach aches didn’t have stairs either! Easy to get on the beach and not crowded. Steve and Tracy were easy to communicate with and friendly. I’m sure they would have jumped at the chance to fix any issues, there just weren’t any!!! This was the most relaxing beach vacation I’ve ever had! Highly recommend!

A wonderful house on the water! If I’m ever in the area again I will certainly check this place out!

Great peace of history in a peaceful location. Kids thought it was coolest place ever to go kayaking, fishing, catching crabs, and relaxing inside playing chess and listening to some records. Richard was very accommodating with how far we had to travel and was able to help with a flexible check in time.

This was exactly what we were looking for! Less than an hour from our busy city to pure peaceful, country living but still lots to do without even leaving the property. The kids stayed well entertained. Playing cornhole, fishing, ping pong or simply swinging on the swing before making s’mores. We will definitely be returning as us adults could just relax and enjoy the views. 5⭐️ without a doubt.
