Cottage holiday rentals in Hana

we enjoyed our week long stay at Hank's place. the area is beautiful and there is a lot to do. Hank had a number of useful kitchen amenities and was very friendly and accommodating! thank you!

We LOVED everything about this location. Iao Valley is so special and the location of the AirBNB itself was perfect for getting all around the island. We visited at the end of March and never ran the AC once. It was hot during the afternoon but the morning/late afternoon/evening cool off, with the winds blowing into the valley were so perfect. AND the birdsong in the morning was so beautiful that I recorded it and sent it to my family (minus the rooster song- but that's just Maui living for ya). If you want a good cocktail check out Ester's Fair Prospect, they have a nice selection of liquor and a fun vibe, located in the city of Wailuku right next door to this place. Also we loved the goodies that were left in the fridge. The pineapple on the island is SOOO good. Sooooooo good. Forget the banana bread hype... just eat the pineapples and bananas fresh! Mahalo!

We stayed here for 10 days on our honeymoon. This was the perfect spot! Had a private backyard, a hot tub and it was so cozy for the 2 of us. It was close to all the food and all the beaches as well.

Margit's listening showed an availability for the time we would be traveling. Airbnb noted this fact as "a rare find", which turned out to be totally true! The home was spotless, well appointed, and welcoming. It was easy to get settled in with our luggage and groceries. The yard was beautifully landscaped and peaceful. The rental fee is very competitive. Margit replied to messages in a quick and friendly manner. We couldn't have been happier with our choice in lodging.

Perfect for our small group of friends to be able to catch up and explore the island together! Just wish our stay could have been longer. Beautiful and quaint. My wife ended up using one of the rooms as a bridal suite to get ready and had a great time!

We absolutely loved the cottage! Tom and Denise were very kind and gave us a lot of helpful information on activities and restaurants in the area. The cottage had great extras like snorkeling gear, beach towels etc. In the morning, we were woken up by the beautiful sound of birds which we will miss dearly back home! We were super happy a late check-out was possible as our flight was in the evening. Highly recommend booking with Tom and Denise (and their adorable dog), would 100 percent book again!

Absolutely stunning views! I chose this cottage for its proximity to the ocean and it did not disappoint. Loved lounging on the deck swings. As the bedroom photo shows, the property is next to a condo on the left and another cottage on the right. There was enough privacy sitting on the deck that being nestled between other properties did not deter at all from the beauty and peace. I would highly recommend. There is no a/c but with the right windows open and the provided fan we had a very comfortable breeze blowing through. Loved having the windows open to hear the ocean and the birds. Loved our stay. Thank you for sharing your property with us. And… Hana was refreshing to be in a small town for a slower speed of life.

What a lovely place! Soooo little bugs in a forest environment. Very clean! Sharyn is very responsive, always so welcoming and friendly! She made the place extra special for me and my wife. Will totally recommend her👍👍👍

We had a wonderful time staying at Michael's and Terry's cottage. The setting was amazing, with a view of the ocean and having entire botanical gardens to ourselves. The cottage was in great condition and well-equipped. We really appreciated fresh eggs from their chickens and tomatoes from their garden that they left us. Having read that it was off the grid, I had concerns about electricity and hot water, but we had no issues with them. The internet worked very well too. There was an orange cat who was very friendly and stayed on the patio the entire time we were there. The only thing that was less than ideal was the mattress, which was too soft for me. Communicating with Terry and Michael and their guests who were house sitting for them was a pleasure! If you stay there, please follow their advise and get groceries ahead of time, since the place is really remote and almost all food stands nearby closed very early.

The Cottage is well situated, close to Hana town. You can walk to Hana Bay if you so desired. Great location.

Hāna has stolen our hearts ~ and Luana Gardens sealed the deal. We cannot wait to return to spend more time away from it all, enjoying the peace and tranquility of the area with this beautiful home as our base. Jody is such a gracious host and was so helpful to us, helping guide us on a search for family information. Such a beautiful property, well appointed home, great local food trucks (da mean bean & Ae’s kitchen were favorites!), and being so close to the beach was wonderful. This is a truly special place.

We loved our stay at the Hāna cottage! It is nestled in the rainforest and the flora and fauna are wonderful. The place is beautiful. Would recommend to others, and would also happily stay here again!

Brigitte and Dave’s cottage was in a private peaceful location. Our daughter loved exploring the large backyard with beautiful greenery. We also loved the location near the north shore. We would love to stay here again. Thank you!

My wife and started our honeymoon at this AirBnB. We spent three amazing days at the "Jungalow" house. We woke up every morning to a breathtaking view of the ocean from the cool and breezy mountainside of Haleakala, where the AirBnB is located. We just spent our time soaking in the surroundings each morning, and enjoying the French press coffee that was provided. We fell asleep each night to the sounds of wind and birds in the trees, and I even refilled the bird feeder near the downstairs window with host-provided bird seed. If you want a place to reset and be at peace with life, then this is the place that you need to go. My wife and I also found plenty of shopping just down the mountain in the nearby town of Makawao, and we explored many other parts of the island, too. Nothing is very far away from anything else in Maui. If you want an adventure, then you should go to the top of Haleakala like we did, or just stay at pool/sauna at the AirBnB :) This place is the real deal.

Absolutely beautiful property. It was perfectly away from the hussle and bussle, but close enough to cute little towns, resturants, beaches, Hana HWY, the National Park. It was also nice to have some great amenities and extras for activities while we stayed. Having our own 'home' while on vacation without breaking the bank. We ran into John while he was outside with Grace (their adorable fur baby) and she was the sweetest as he was as well as my boyfriend asked questions and complimented on the property. They were respectful to not barge in on our time or hover. They gave great insturctions/recommendations posted on the fridge for pur stay as well. Would definitely stay here again if when i visit maui in the future.

Such a cute and homey cottage. Clean, comfortable GORGEOUS VIEW and sooo quiet!
