Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Hants County

Needing a home away from home to host family for our daughters graduation, Rebecca accomodated ALL our specific requests! The lake was so conveniently located and we all enjoyed, from morning walks, kayaking the hottub and even came across the house game options!

We enjoyed staying at Robert's fabulously decorated home. It is a unique home in a beautiful setting; it's not often we get to stay in a home with exotic birds, friendly ducks, and a dinosaur room. And Robert is an excellent host. It's a great location for seeing the area - many attractions within a 1-2 hour drive. We would stay here again if our travels bring us back to Nova Scotia.

Jay was an outstanding host. Everything was as described and then some. Very friendly and helpful person who went above and beyond to help with local information and guidance. I would strongly recommend this location when in downtown Halifax. Very close to the pier, boardwalk, shopping and restaurants. Well worth the money spent. Jay takes pride in his property and always upgrading to guest comfort. Whenever my family and I are in Halifax, we will be back at Jay’s.

Our stay at Mark and Kassy’s home was comfortable and relaxing.The home was spotless and well organized.The kitchen appliances and bathroom are in excellent condition and well appointed.There is back porch with a grill,gas fire pit and outdoor jacuzzi which we did not use. The home is located a short distance to the center of this charming peaceful town. We highly recommend this property and would stay again the next time we’re in Lunenburg.

We loved our stay here. Great location for getting to different places. Beds were super comfortable. Nice front porch to sit and relax in the evening. Owners live on the property so you will pass by eachother, they are really friendly.

We had a wonderful stay at this property - 8 family members on a girls weekend! The house was beautiful, better than the pictures. The kitchen/living room/dining room space was ideal for games, cooking and lots of fun. Everything was so clean and ready to use. Kim was super responsive with any questions I had and everything was really smooth. I would stay here again! It's useful to note for prospective guests - there is a 1-bedroom guesthouse directly behind the main house which does lie between the house and the yard/view, so it didn't feel quite as private as I thought it would be. But - we were there on a rainy weekend, so our group and the guesthouse renters stayed inside all weekend and it was like they weren't even there! I would suggest if you are renting this space for outdoor space, it might not suit those needs. Overall a lovely place to stay and we had a fabulous weekend.

Great place came as advertised. The host were very attentive and immediately responded to A request. A group of 5 men on golfing weekend was a great place to come back to and relax. Will book again. Mike May 2025

We had a truly wonderful stay! Everything was exactly as described — peaceful, clean, and thoughtfully prepared. We especially appreciated the attention to detail — it’s clear that the hosts care deeply about their guests’ experience. The nature around the place is absolutely beautiful, and the quietness made it feel like a real retreat. Thank you for such a lovely atmosphere. We’d be happy to return someday!

Was looking for a peaceful weekend away and that is exactly what we got! Beautiful and private spot. Scott has clearly put in a lot of effort to make your stay comfortable. The house had absolutely everything we needed. Would definitley stay again.

Lina and family were so friendly, kind, and accommodating. When we couldn’t figure out the fire table she was so quick to help us figure it out— to be very clear, it was definitely user error lol. The location was beautiful, the hot tub was divine. It was the best way to spend my 30th birthday. We are so impressed with the whole experience. Thank you times a million to our sweet host. :)

We booked this place to get away for a few days in the peace and quiet and spend some time outside. Tyler’s place was perfect. Very quiet and comfortable and there was a lot to do! Lots of places to explore and swim nearby and no complaints at all about the home. It was really nice and well taken care of. Perfect spot to recharge for a few days! Thanks Tyler

Great spot to visit for a weekend getaway! Even though the cabin is attached to their house, the hosts made us feel secluded and welcome.

We had the best time at Rolf’s place! The cottage is beautiful, and the surrounding lake and forest were very peaceful. The hot tub and screened in porch were amazing, we spent most of our time there. Rolf was very responsive to messages, and an all around great host. We’ve already booked another trip back!

We had a fantastic stay! Robert was an exceptional host—friendly, responsive, and incredibly helpful. His hospitality made us feel truly welcomed and well taken care of. The property itself is cozy, charming, and wonderfully private—perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway. We especially enjoyed the wood-fired sauna and hot tub, which added a unique and rustic touch to the experience. The wood-fired pizza oven was another highlight—easily some of the best pizza we’ve ever made! We highly recommend staying here and would love to return in the future. Amazing place! Peaceful and private with a beautiful view. Having the hot tub on the deck is perfect for rainy nights, which we had one night of our stay. The hot tub was clean, but not so full of chemicals that it made your skin/eyes burn, which we encountered at a different place we stayed in the past. Super easy to find and figure out which cottage is yours. They have everything that you would need, including extra throw blankets. Also have everything needed to get a fire started (paper, lighter etc) although we did bring our own wood because we weren’t sure if any was provided. BBQ works fantastic! We would definitely return!
