Our 1914 cottage has weathered many storms and stands tall with charm. She is well loved and lived in. We have chickens pecking, ducks waddling through the gardens, sun shining through our stained glass, spiders spinning webs, paint drips, palmetto bugs, an old swing in the front yard, cats napping, Spanish moss in the trees, and a screened-in porch to take in the beauty of a long day's sunset. Our island homestead is for those looking for a down-to-earth stay with nature & art close at hand. ♥

Convenient to everything on Harker's, adjacent to the Harker's Island Fishing Center (boat ramp/ships store), neighbors to Fishhook Grill, 700 feet from Billy's Grocery Store, 2 miles to Ferry/Core Sound Waterfowl Museum, 3.5 miles to Taylors Creek (Beaufort) by boat, 6 miles by boat to the lighthouse. Plenty of room to park a boat and trailer!

Our space also includes a spacious fenced in yard and lovely patio. The cottage is nestled in Vista Cay Village. We are centrally located near Emerald Isle, Hammocks Beach State Park, Camp Lejeune, Croatan National Forest, and historic downtown Swansboro. Lastly, we are a veteran owned and operated business. Have fun with the whole family at this stylish recently updated unit. Comfortably accommodates 6. Tastefully furnished with 2 Queen sized beds and a pull-out sofa. Centrally located on the island steps from The Fishhook Restaurant,The Fishing Center Marina and Billy's Grocery, 2miles to Cape Lookout Visitors Center, the Ferry to Cape Lookout, Core Sound Museum, Wildlife Ramp, and small Public Beach. Designated parking/boat parking, private patio and on-site shared laundry available.

Ant’s Corner

Ant’s Corner is a cozy coastal retreat with a water view in a quiet neighborhood conveniently located near Island Express Ferry Service and Core Sound Waterfowl Museum. Home updates done in spring of 2024 include- entire interior painted, popcorn ceilings removed and other drywall repairs, new ceiling fans and interior lighting, and more! House is stocked with plenty of kitchen necessities and other conveniences so all you need to do is show up ready to relax!

Located directly across from Cape Pointe Marina, you can put your boat in, fuel up, and be on the water in no time. The driveway area has plenty of room for multiple cars and boat trailers.
