Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Harlem, Manhattan

So there are apparently not enough characters allowed in the review to fully express our pleasure staying at this wonderful place. We have stayed in multiple Airbnbs with our business the past five years and this particular one is in the top three. Upon approach, take in the charming brownstones and tree lined streets. Once you open the door, you are greeted with natural light filled space with a chefs kitchen. The decor is modern, yet not stark. The added elements, such as the exposed brick and wood, emanate a warmth and coziness. The outdoor back space is just right, but sitting on the front steps is the best because you meet all kinds of charming characters around the neighborhood. Upstairs are two bedrooms, each with dream bathrooms, right down to the showerheads. beds were SO comfortable and perfect for melting into a deep sleep after a day in Manhattan. Favs:bathrooms, kitchen island, neighborhood shops and cafes, argh there’s not enough room left just book it already!!

Andy's place was lovely, tastefully furnished and decorated, with really comfortable furniture (the bed gets top marks), well stocked, pristine kitchen and bathroom, and the back patio was the perfect spot to relax at the end of the day. Andy was lovely, friendly and thoughtful. Commuting into the city was easy either by bus or Lightrail to the PATH. It was a perfect spot for us while we were having work done in our place. We'd definitely stay there again.

Just like Jared’s description, the place is nice kept, clean and cozy. A spacious living room, a clean and fully-equipped kitchen, a bright bathroom, and a nice backyard to use. Good enough for 3-4 people to stay in. Convenient location and safe neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay for a week.

Mark is an extremely responsive host. The cottage was quaint and had exactly what we needed for our stay. It was clean, and he was proactive about communication with us as well as responsive when we had questions. The area has lots of great restaurants but is still safe and quiet. We will absolutely be back as I visit the area often. Five star review!

The Airbnb was very clean and spacious for six of us. Very comfortable area. Subway station was about an 18 minute walk and that worked well for us. They responded to our text very quickly. They let us know on a daily basis if we needed anything to reach out to them. The only drawback for us was there was no coffee maker or Keurig. Unfortunately, instant coffee doesn’t cut it for us. But overall, the place was very beautiful and as I said earlier clean and comfortable

This was our second stay at Christian's location. Clearly, we enjoyed our first stay, lol. Overall, everything was great for our second stay. Christian is a great host. I highly recommend his place to anyone. Always a good experience and great space and location.

I came up to Jersey City with a few friends for a weekend event and needed a quiet, comfortable place to stay. Mary Jean's house was absolutely perfect. It was beautiful, pristine and so comfortable. The house is decorated with high-end finishes that still retain their historical charm. It comes with a gated parking space (no having to search for parking on narrow, busy streets) and was quiet and comfortable. Mary Jean was also so personable and readily available for advice on restaurants and things to do. I will definitely plan on staying here again for future events in Jersey City!!

Of the 15 or so Airbnbs I've stayed at, one of the very best. Truly delightful 1BR, 2nd floor apt, beautifully appointed, so well thought out. Great bathroom and very cool kitchen with Keurig coffeemaker (I went to nearby ShopRite and bought my own favorite coffee pod flavors). I loved that their cleaning person does all the dishes, you don't have to. Very spacious bedroom with extra comfy bed, an end-of-bed bench, couch, office workspace, in-window A/C unit and space heater. One of my favorite parts is that there wasn't just a TV in the living room, but in the bedroom, wall-mounted with swing arm. Since I usually watch TV in bed at home I felt RIGHT at home — and, actually, didn't use the living room at all (although for winter it has great wall-mounted, simulated fireplace). And, to top it off, Eulis was just THE BEST host! Very communicative. This will be my "go-to" for all my future annual NY trips! (Note: let her know in advance if you don't want scented plug-ins.)

Nice apartment Fidel was always responding its clean and the backyard was a plus .Be aware that you are in Jersey so you have to take the Uber to New York and after 5pm its rush hour and it takes forever. We definitely come back we loved it.

Nancy was a great host. Noticed a few issues from previous renters but Nancy put them right straight away. Very friendly, Very welcoming and an amazing host. Nancy made our 12 day stay feel like a second home. We were very comfortable and enjoyed every minute.

Kirk’s place was a peace of mind “Very CLEAN” quiet neighborhood and building was quiet as well definitely a place of place and relaxation. I am definitely going to book again.

This was the perfect place to stay for my trip. Awesome vibe at night in the hot tub with all the lights on, and very cozy and clean inside as well. Super detailed instructions on how to get there, get inside etc. Very responsive host 👍I had a great time. Lots of good places to eat in this area, too. 10/10 would definitely come back in the future.

Place was perfect! Cozy and clean. Right next to all the local transport options. Nice area to walk around. Quick response time. Will book again when in the area!!

This property was fantastic! The location is super walkable to everything Hoboken has to offer and is very walkable to the Path. The home is simply lovely & very welcoming. The outdoor space is perfect for reading a book or sipping coffee. Elgha was very responsive & an excellent host. We will absolutely be back!

Fantastic design, everything fresh and updated, and the special touches and messages helped us feel right at home. We stayed monday through saturday, and the neighborhood felt quiet and quintessentially charming. We used public transport which was readily available, once we got the hang of New Jersey's terminal (there is always someone there to help you find where bus will be, since app will not show gate). We found that google maps usually recommended bus 154 or 159 which arrive more frequently and are only an additional block away from the closest bus route which was literally just around the corner. We will definitely stay here again! Cecia was the ideal hostess.

A very great place, clean and lovely rooms and cosy beds, generally the entire place is lovely, our hosts were friendly and responsive, clear instructions and helpful in finding transport to NY.

Anthony is the best host I’ve ever had! So friendly, welcoming, and super responsive. He has clearly poured ample love and care into the space—it is immaculate, stylish, well-equipped, and truly an easy Williamsburg oasis!

I had a great stay at this Airbnb! The place was exactly as described—very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. It was in a good location and had everything I needed for a relaxing visit. The host was also responsive and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

This space was comfortable for our intergenerational family’s visit to NY. The walk to the Path trains made getting to and from NYC very convenient. The neighborhood felt safe and the space is just as lovely as the pictures show. Do note there is a steep flight of stairs right as you enter the Airbnb. Overall, it’s a much better choice than pricey NYC hotels and the full kitchen is great for preparing meals and snacks to save on food costs! We all loved this place!

Overall had a great stay! Stayed at Ann’s place due to my daughter‘s surgery at NY Presbyterian Columbia University Hospital. Location was perfect for us to go back-and-forth to the hospital. The place was very clean and exactly as described and Ann was very responsive and accommodating.

Clean and accessible. The condo was comfortable and quiet. Would recommend Casa Erika.

Loved the stay in the apartment! It was beautiful, peaceful and exactly what we needed to have a little time when life takes over. Will for sure be booking the spot again!! The view of NYC was beautiful. Well worth every penny-one of the nicest, cleanest places we’ve stayed so far! Great host, amazing location, and quite cute neighborhood incredibly close to the PATH! Hoboken was great and getting into Manhattan was incredibly convenient. The Airbnb was spotless and the couch was already made for my dad. Roomy, homey, and a great stay. Loved this place!! If I ever need an Airbnb in Hoboken I will look to rebook this place
