The Shed at Birch Cottage

GeorgieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My partner and I stayed at The Shed for a long weekend. The location is perfect with so much to do in the local area and Hunstanton & Wells only being around 20 mins drive away. There is a lovely village shop/cafe and hotel/restaurant just a stones throw away. The shed itself is a lovely cosy little place, perfect for two. It was very clean and had everything you need for a short stay. It feels very private, with the entrance and garden being fenced off. We would definitely stay here again!

Holiday house in the heart of Great Massingham

AmandaRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We had the pleasure of staying for 4 nights in Leanne’s beautiful converted Chapel. There was a fully equipped kitchen which makes life so much easier , lovely bathroom and downstairs toilet. Bed was super comfy and lovely living area. Couldn’t fault it. Leanne was really helpful with so many recommendations and always quick to respond. A perfect host. The Chapel is located in a gorgeous quiet village with fantastic general stores, tea shop, award winning pub and overlooking a duck pond. Just perfect for a relaxing 4 day break. It was our 1st visit to Norfolk but definitely not our last. Thank you Leanne we loved our stay,

Self-contained double ensuite & private entrance

Lovely peaceful part of the world and Jane's accommodation is perfect. It has a little bit of everything including the tweeting of birds, crumpets and chairs. The bed was very comfy and we slept very well indeed and the absence of passing cars made it even better. You are in a cul-de-sac and there is nobody about, even Jane and family are not noticeable though I think we saw her disappearing into the house once. Snettisham itself has 2 good pubs and a few other shops but it also has a great bus service if you fancy leaving the car and visiting the coast at Hunstanton or Wells-next-the-Sea. We'll worth a stay.

St Lawrence House

KeithRating, 5 stars24 months ago
A beautiful house and gardens in a lovely location. A good pub with nice food 200m away. A few things that could make the place perfect: Better casual seating in the informal sitting room next to the kitchen, the settees have seen better days no support and although lots of cushions the seating wasn't comfortable. The garden furniture at the back of the house is rather decrepit, no cushions, no umbrella. Nice table and chairs at the front garden but only 4 chairs. The welcome pack wasn't useful or of the sort of quality that you might expect when basically paying £100 a night per person. An out of date cake, a packet of biscuits and some left over tea and coffee sachets and a carton of milk. A few coffee pods were a nice touch. A couple of comments about the facilities. Two of the bedrooms have en suites with showers, the main bathroom has no shower, the downstairs bathroom has easy access to the downstair WC but the nearest bathroom is a long walk upstairs. Would I visit again? YES

Absolutely stunning, peaceful setting surrounded by glorious nature. The Boathouse was tastefully decorated and well appointed. We will definitely be visiting again.
