Cottage holiday rentals in Harrisburg

My family would absolutely return to this rental. The location was relaxing, peaceful and tranquil. The space itself was very clean and beautifully decorated. I appreciated all of the live plants. We visited the area for an event but we found plenty of places to eat and things to do during our visit. My favorite part was enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning while watching the horses and cows graze right outside the picture window in the main level sitting space. I highly recommend reading the instructions and directions provided by the property manager(s). They described the location, provided pictures to help guide you to the proper driveway, and gave lots of step-by-step details... I still had to ask the family that lives there to help guide us to the appropriate spot- it's really tucked away. This rental is highly recommended; hopefully, you enjoy it as much as we did!

The house was perfect for us. Very clean. Everything well stocked. Outside area was clean and well maintained and perfect for a family. Had all the amenities and more. Paid very close attention to the details to made our stay perfect. Hosts are kind and responsive.

Place was very beautiful and was such a nice area, definitely recommend driving over to Columbia during your stay. Place was a bit more renovated than the pictures which was a nice surprise.

Our stay at Mom's cottage was great. We liked being away from Gettysburg proper. The drive into Gettysburg is easy and convenient. Quiet neighborhood that would be great for those that like to walk.

We can’t say enough about Hilee’s beautiful home, her excellent communication and how well she went out of her way to make us feel at home. She let us know as soon as the house was cleaned and available, easy instructions, and we walked right into the coziest setting- with fresh muffins to welcome us, lights on and music playing. Exactly as described but even better! Super comfortable beds, incredibly clean and great amenities! Thank you so much for letting us stay! Great location with so much to do. It was rainy when we were there so we didn’t get to enjoy the beautiful yard but such a lovely find! We’ll be back when we’re in the area!

The property we stayed in was absolutely beautiful and offered fantastic views of the river and surrounding areas. The house itself was very well maintained and offered a great outdoor area with the hot tub. Josh and Nicole were extremely accommodating and were absolutely fantastic hosts, would completely recommend them and staying on one of their properties.

Loved this place. Couldn’t say enough about how nice it was. It actually was even better than the pictures showed. We hung out on the back deck with a hot tub and the grill and comfy chairs. Bedroom and bathrooms primo. Kitchen was so organized and stocked with equipment and utensils and everything you might need. This was important for us as we cooked almost every meal here We totally enjoyed the pool table in the basement. The host was very helpful, communicative, and responsive. We enjoyed going to local greenhouses and gardens. Highly recommend this place.

Super cozy place! It was very clean and was the perfect size for my dad, my sister and I! Beautiful porch with lots of flowers and a big yard! Host is friendly and responsive.

Jen's place was clean, comfortable, quiet and well stocked. It truly felt like our "home away from home". We stayed here when our daughter had twins and due to unexpected circumstances we needed to extend our stay...2 times. Jen's communication, response time to messages and her willingness to help is the best I have ever experienced on Airbnb. Our four days three nights stay at Paradise Cottage was a very special one. The hosts were very welcoming and stood behind what they had offer. The house was clean, spacious and comfortable. As a complementary, there were very sweet straberries waiting for us on the kitchen counter and raw milk and brown eggs were also provided. She responded to our question’s without delay. We felt at home because there were utensils and products to use as needed. The main attractions were at a close distance as she had announced. It was a very unique and different experience for us. We are planning come back.

To our AirBnB hosts Carol & Pete: the BIRDHOUSE in Columbia, PA THANK YOU for your warm hospitality. The scones were delicious and the beautiful flowers left in our place of stay. Everything was nice, clean and we were provided with the comforts of home. From beginning to end. For allowing us to tour your other properties. The BUNTINGs were truly blessed. We had an amazing time at the River House! We were in town for a wedding and to visit family. After living/traveling in our camper for the last 2 years, it was so nice to stretchout! We had 4 beautiful sunsets, including after a family BBQ on the deck. We had everything in the kitchen we needed to make food. The bathroom is beautiful. The comfy couch and fireplace made the evenings so nice. The neighbors on both sides brought us homemade goodies and made us feel right at home. Our dog Lily made friends with LILY the pug next door. We will always try to stay at the River House in future visits to PA. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you so much for sharing your special place with us!

Rented for a girls getaway weekend. Perfect! Walkable to town w fun shops and restaurants . And short drive to other beautiful destinations! Edwin and Traci have an amazing cottage and are great hosts! Will definitely plan a return trip!

We had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin in the woods. The space was comfortable, spacious, and thoughtfully designed — the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. One highlight was the kitchen. Honestly, I wish my kitchen at home was this nice! It was fully equipped with a fantastic induction stove, a great oven, and even a well-stocked spice cabinet. I really enjoyed cooking a few special meals there for my wife’s birthday. The cabin also has some delightful surprises. My son absolutely screamed with happiness when he discovered the secret room hidden behind the wardrobe — a magical touch that made the stay even more memorable for our family. The surroundings are just as charming: peaceful, beautiful, and perfect for unwinding. We’d love to come back. Highly recommend! Mike is a great host.

We enjoyed our time at John's place and were very comfortable. John was quick to respond to messages and very accommodating! We were able to cook meals and had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck and relaxing by the lake -- thank you John!

Our stay at Kayla’s place was amazing! The house is adorable, the location is perfect (very walkable), and it was easily one of the cleanest bnb’s we’ve stayed at. Very toddler friendly (aside from needing to put a few decor items out of reach) :) We would definitely stay here again!

Can’t say enough good words about the place and the hosts. Candy Ann and Freddie were amazing hosts, super friendly, very responsive, and extremely kind. In fact, this might have been the warmest welcome experience we’ve had in all our time using Airbnb. The house itself is wonderful - decor is making you feel right at home, squeaky clean, comfortable, and located close to many fun attractions you can take your family to. And don’t even get me started on the pets, Angel, Lulu and Jojo, who made my kid beam when we saw them. Overall, amazing experience, would highly recommend for singles, couples, and small families looking to have a vacation in Lancaster.

Very comfortable, clean, quaint cottage. Location was perfect for us since our daughter attended a seminar at Millersville University. Kitchen was well equipped and starter supplies were wonderful. Whoppie pies were a nice treat😊Birds, squirrels, rabbits and deer kept us entertained! Back porch was our favorite but also enjoyed the fire. Very peaceful Thank you Tammy!

This cozy home met all of our needs and more. The only thing we needed during our visit was more time to stay longer. We appreciated the all natural products and supplies. The surroundings were beautiful, and there was adequate outdoor seating to enjoy it! Meeting Aaron was a nice surprise, when he stopped by to check on us.

We stayed 3 nights with our young grandchildren they enjoyed the pool area and the fire pit. (For the s’mores of-course) There was enough room for the 4 of us to sit and relax watch tv and play some games. The house is centrally located to the restaurants,entertainment,and sight and sound theater. had a great time away and would visit Ruth’s home again.

The Millstone Cottage is perfect for peaceful enjoyment of comfortable country living. Our children so appreciated and enjoyed the toys, swing set and most of all the friendly animals.

Let me just say that I love the Mount Gretna area and our family has visited several times now. Issa’s place was absolutely fabulous. Her cottage is right in the mix of everything… Walkable, hidden among the tree tops, but tucked in with all the other historic cottages and packed full of everything you would need. She has thought of everything including three different coffee makers, grilling supplies, every toiletry you might need and we had forgotten toothbrushes. We loved her cute and quirky style and everything about the cottage was comfortable and cozy. We really hope to be able to rent again and so appreciated all of her helpful touches.
