Bjørklund farm

Welcome to this idyllic old farmhouse on Tjeldøya. The northern Light can be seen right outside the door and during the summermonths one can see cruiseboats on the Tjeldsund strait. The house is close to the sea, and the island is perfect for hikes in the mountains. You can fish cod, Salmon, makrell or flatfish - and if lucky you may ser the whales or some of the majestic eagles that habitates in this area. This year it is perhaps particularly attractive to be able to come to Bjørklund farm in connection with Norgesferie.

A unique experience close to nature. Our cabin is situated in untouched wilderness, close to lakes, valleys and mountains. Unlimited fishing and hiking potential. 35 minutes drive from airport & Harstad, 2.5 hours from Lofoten. Road access and free parking by the cabin. 10 minutes drive to grocery store & the sea. Upright beds/towels. 45 min drive to Harstad, same to the airport. 5 min to mini market, playground and gas station. 75 min to Polar park, 2 hours to Målselvfossen. 2.5 hours to Svolvær, 3 hours to Senja, under 4 hours to Tromsø. No smoking inside, nor allowed to party.

New nearby Wildlife Shop, several hiking trails, Kvitemuseum, National Park, inland and sea fishing, boat rental nearby. 2 hours by car from Bardufoss airport. 1 hour drive to Finnsnes. 1 hour by fast boat to Harstad. 3 mattresses on top of the loft in addition to the two bedrooms. Surrounded by dramatic mountains and oceans, Andørja is the most mountaineous island of Northern Europe. Mighty peaks shoot straight up from the sea. Few places are the landscape more conspicious than at Laupstad, where our farmhouse lies just between the sandy beach and mountains. We welcome singles, couples and families of every nationality! Fishing trips is possible. The midnight sun is best experienced by boat after all.
