Your cottage is right beside the sea with private jetty and mooring in our own little Bay. Cook your meals in your fully equipped kitchen. Your hosts Marty and Sabine live close by. This is a beautiful, wild forested place with no roads or cars but rich with birdsong and silence. A great place to relax, swim, fish, walk or row in the bay. Sea access only. Pelorus Mail Boat service cheapest option charging $50 per person or half price for children 15 yrs or under. 3 private Havelock water taxis.

Our Kayaks for your use, & our shoreline deck are a 2 minute walk down to the beach. A great spot to relax in the sun. Outdoor BBQ area and spa pool sets the scene for your relaxing break away. All sliding doors open up onto a large deck, perfect for soaking in the picturesque view. Our mooring may be available

Our Cottage is situated in the Pelorus Sounds, surrounded by beautiful bush. Come relax and unwind on the cottage balcony and watch the boats go up and down the sound. Wake up in the morning to the tuis and bellbirds. Go to bed at night listening to the bubbling stream with the morepork's in the background. 1 hour fromBlenheim, half hour from Havelock and 40 min to Picton. It is a 2 min walk down the drive to a private beach with a Jetty. Note- We live on site and will respect your privacy.

Vintage Caravans by the Sea

Unplug and unwind, chilling between our two 1960's caravans nestled in bush in the heart of the Marlborough Sounds. Wake up to spectacular water views & enjoy the tranquility of the native bush & birdsong. This unique setup offers one caravan as a bedroom and a separate kitchen/living room caravan. A diesel central heating system has been installed to heat both. Enjoy the rustic charm & views from the hot water bush shower & the novelty of the separate 'loo with a view' in the hut above.

Karaka Studio on Manuka Island Nelson/Tasman

Karaka studio is on the very edge of the Waimea Inlet with water twenty metres from your front door. Lie in bed and watch the tide come in. We are a private estuary island (Manuka Island) but we have drive on access at all times, 25 minutes to Nelson and Motueka. Rabbit Island beach(4km) and Taste Nelson Cycle Trail is a km from our gate. We are central to vineyards, cafes, 3/4 hour to Abel Tasman National park. We have amazing sea, rural , and mountain views. Total privacy assured.

A three minute walk to village and restaurants. Haven for double or single stays providing a calm peaceful getaway . Self check in.

The Courtyard - in a beautiful rural location

The studio has a small kitchenette and a modern compact ensuite. It is fully furnished and equipped with everything needed for your stay, including free Wi-Fi and off-road parking. The stand-alone studio has its own entrance in a shared courtyard with the main house, situated on 2 hectares (5 acres) in a rural location 15-20 mins from downtown Nelson. We have cows, goats, chickens, a cat and a small aviary. You are welcome to explore the property and enjoy the views and birdlife.
