Are you looking for a relaxing lakefront getaway with beautiful sunset views over the lake? If so, our comfy fishing cottage on Leach Lake in Hastings is for you! The cottage is a short drive north of downtown Hastings, which has been rated one of the best small towns in America by Norman Crampton, author of "The 100 Best Small Towns in America." Leach Lake is an all-sports lake with excellent fishing. The cottage is equipped with paddle boards, kayaks, a canoe, and a row boat for your trip.

Hidden in the woods

Quiet, country setting that comfortably accommodates two. This space is above our garage, which is not attached to our house. We have lots of chickens, curious cats and a couple of friendly goats. We are often outside working or playing, but the apartment is very private once you are upstairs!! There is NO WiFi here. There IS a lovely, private balcony with a nice view, lots of movies, and fun games. Verizon service works great here, so if you have a Hotspot you could hook up to our smart TV.

The RV has a full bathroom, with small shower. It has a stove, microwave, fridge, a grill, and all the necessities to fix a great meal. All linens are provided. Come make some unique memories!

Steeped in nature, the gazebo provides a get away into nature, with its double bed and intimate sized room this is a wonderful space for 2 to be immersed in a peaceful environment. Whether you came here to rest & revive or to explore there is plenty to be had! The gazebo has a nearby compostable toliet (shared with other guests), and just a 1 minute walk on a path in the woods to the main house (where the full bathroom is that can be used 9am-8pm).

Lakefront on Morrison Lake with access to the lake right from the backyard. All sports lake with good fishing. The house has a kitchen with dishes, pots, and pans. WiFi is available as well. There is a fire ring and picnic table in the yard. 2 kayaks available to use upon request. The dock is put in on Labor Day and taken out Memorial Day. The cottage is 37 minutes from Grand Rapids, Mi 28th Street. 40 minutes from Grand Ledge, Mi.

Enchanting Riverfront Cottage

Cottage was renovated in 2019 including new painting, roof, flooring, bathrooms and kitchen. Cottage is on the Thornapple River with access to the Thornapple Lake. Enjoy canoeing, kayaking, boating, fishing and all river/lake activities. Relax by a bonfire enjoying s'mores and time with family and friends. Please note there is no wi fi or cable TV.
